This episode, and the 2nd one never saves for me. Got to lvl 10 in episode 2, and it didn't save. I got to lvl 5 here, and it didn't save. Would be a 5/5, but because of the saving issue, 4/5.

Great, again. As ever, it could do with some sort of randomised 'skirmish' option, but still much more fun than anything else about on Kong at the moment.

This game definitely blows the first two game out of the water. Better campaigns, Map editor, and even online play. The only thing I don't like is that you have to pay money to get the premium or elite staus, which I think is a little biased. But what can I say, awesome game overall 5/5. Peace.

The game itself is very good. They just keep getting better. But for some reason if I quit the game in anyway, it wont save. I noticed that in the second episode too. Should have fixed that in last episode... 4/5

it was almost a 4 star but the save didnt work at all got to lev 10 3 times befor it didnt finally lock up jam up so i finally beat it ...

dude, UselessMusic, I think the only way to save is to open the menu during a scenario mission and tell it save and quit. an autosave must've seemed too convenient

for level 4 just sit back and take out every thing they send at u with the rocket and mortar trucks and block all the open areas with ur tanks and when there isnt any units to attack hit the barricades to make moving faster and just kill all the units to win easy as that

Chapter 6:
Your Hunters can intercept u-Boats, so just move them around all the empty spaces and kill subs, or undo the move if there's nothing

Mission 4 is some serious crap design. I wait and repeat for 10+ rounds doing the same thing? Lame. Even more ridiculous is I cannot take or destroy the money makers.

i am on the last level of the last version of this game, and i FINALLY found the undo move button when i'm watching a youtube walkthrough of level 6 on hard. oops. duh.

really wish i did not have to start over from the beginning every time; I will never get through the campaign if I have to play all ten levels in one sitting

Meh. Each one seems cheaper and less entertaining than the one before it. Dialogue is still fairly amusing, but this one starts out with inexcusably easy levels for a game this far into it's run of sequels, then drops overly-convoluted level design in in place of genuinely clever AI. Still fun, but not as fun as the first.

Okay, wow. The bonus map AI is horrible. I built mainly aircraft, Mullen didn't build a single air or anti-air unit. Protip: One Jammer Truck does not an adequate air defense make, especially when your opponent backs up his Vulture Drone with Condors, artillery, and Raptors. And all you have is infantry and Annihilators.

For level 2:
DON'T move your trucks... Damage all the attackers on Turn 2, then forget the flak on the upper right and concentrate on scorps down and left. In a couple of tries, you should easily win.
For level 4:
Set Mortar Truck on the hill (3 UP - 2 RIGHT from the left corner), rocket truck one case lower. The spiders will endlessly loop onto the hill next to you... just kill until 0$, while slowly destroying the barricades to get tot he lone scorpions at the end.

if you like this, you should check out advance wars for the Nintendo handheld systems. Battalion is basically a ripoff of AW (they even got their name from one of the AW games, Battalion Wars), except it's garbage compared to the real thing.

Vulture Drones are way overpowered. I usually build one which destroys like 3 damaged units per turn, and can safely flee back to a safe place. But maybe if the AI was a little better, there wouldn't be so much damaged units to attack...

level 4 wasn't hard.
level 4 has one strategy:
-dont move anything, just let your mortar truck take out the spider tanks in the open as they approach (1 hit kill) till they run out of money, but dont shoot the spider tanks in mountains unless u have a spare unit as 1 mortar hit won't kill it.
-then slowly advance, but protecting the mortar truck above all other units
forget about blockades or buildings. they're not important
-only the mortar truck cn take out the scorpion tank behing the mountains. what u do is surround the factory so they can't make more spider tanks, then get the mortar in range and blow up the last unit.

I have won every Battallion game like this.
-if it wasn't obvious, first weaken all enemies an use a vulture to finish them off. they sure got pwned...
oh, and btw did u know that a lancer can have friendly fire?

wow mission 9 is just ridiculously easy, put your jammer trucks in front of the blockades and a warmachine beside each, have the thrid warmachine placed on the water to build boats, then the enemy commits suicide by placing all their troops on boats and sending then in your direction
