Pretty cool game. I've always like puzzle games, so this one gets a 5/5 for it's design and play style.
It really isn't luck based, it's just a matter of utilizing the early rounds to get your health up to around 35, and maintaining it throughout the game.

gotten consitently and systematically to 71000 5 games in a row can't seem to get past that (not enough luck) still even with the furstration LOVE this game very addicting

stuck on 99582. not fair, way too much luck involved - no chance without any yellows or reds when they spawn at 13th turn...

no luck involved? are you drunk? what can you do with 10 lives left on a map where eggs will respawn in 13 turns, and there are only 2 reds available, too few yellow available?

Dude! You just completed the Xenocutia achievement in Bloody Fun Day and won the Xenocutia badge and 30 points!

The Hard Badge isn't very hard at all..... Luck isn't the case. The strategy is to kill as many Red Cuties as you can and keep your health as high as possible. It is all survival and not a quick rack-up of points. Use your abilities to absorb as much health as possible.

A nice blend of strategy & luck needed in this game cause it to be fun, frustrating & addicting. The slow pace was the only negative for me.

stuck on 98,002... grr. way too much luck involved in this game. It would be good if the eggs hatched in a semi-predictable fashion, maybe influenced by the cuties around them, a la Conways Game Of Life. Say if an egg has 3 red cutie neighbours it has a very strong chance to hatch as red. This would let you strategically plow corridors between 2 same colour cuties, knowing that when the eggs hatch in 2 turns they'll very likely link up. The current randomness is too annoying :(

the trick to the higher scores is using the apocalypse (or whatever it is called) to strike the golden eggs, rather than cut your way to them. That little trick got me the first 20,000 quite easily after I figured it out.

The key to getting 20k (and I'm assuming the 100k one, though I haven't gotten it yet) seems to be in the golden eggs. Each one you destroy is 5000 points. Problem is sometimes you get unlucky and get no chances for golden eggs for a long time, or you have to hack through 4 or 5 normal eggs to reach it (each one broken taking 2hp), making that 5000 points cost you anywhere between 8 and 12 life. Also, gotta get them before the egghatch timer. Kinda crazy. Lotta fun though. :)

Pretty addictive game or at least until you get the hard badge, to which I say it is a combination of the luck you get with spawns, using skills smartly and collecting those damn gold eggs.

Yay completed it!
However, I think there is too much luck. What you spawn almost completely determines your score; it is hard to deliberately produce a 10+ cluster with only random eggs and the random yellow action. I scored 50k, 80k, 20k and 115k playing the same way, which is too much variability imo.

@zombierachel: Since you don't actually see the reaper die, he might just run out of energy and collapse until he gets more red souls (which could be souls that one of the other reapers had too much energy to absorb). Or it could be as in Piers Anothony's "On a Pale Horse": the reaper who has gotten careless is killed by one of his clients; then his corpse becomes the killer's corpse, and the killer replaces him as reaper. (Why were the newlines left out of my previous comment?)

@Trignano: Actually you should just press the Print Screen (or Print Scrn) key to copy the screen (then paste it into Paint, as destroyer10 said). Fn is a modifier key that AFAIK exists only on laptops, which (on mine at least) turns the keys 7890uiopjkl;m./ into a numeric keypad, Num Lock into Scroll Lock, Print Screen into System Request, Insert into Pause, Delete into Break, and lets me use the up and down arrows to adjust brightness, F1 to put the computer into hibernation, or F8 to switch the display to an external monitor.

@zombierachel -- the other two deaths of course! :)
Great game. Very addictive. Just a shame it came out at the same time as Music Catch 2 -- nobody stood a chance, but you deserved to win!

Very nice variation on an old idea and well executed. I could have done without the slash and blood, but that's just me. Nice job.
