it's really effing hard ot get the frenchie to a captain level. I seriously gave a french 5 ranger trainings and the most he got was to 37

my best strategy to get to good amounts of exp, and wave:what you do is you start off with the 4 soldiers advance as often as you can in the beginning and if you see a soldier about to get in a fight move him outta the way, then buy officer, spec ops, sniper, medic, engineer, and rocket launcher in which ever order you please (and whatever else troops your heart desires) build camo nets and trenches where ever you want doesn't matter as long as you make it last, and upgrade your soldiers with ranger training, bars, and m1's this strategy got me gold medal, westpoint commendation, gallantry medal, tank killer, and many other medals

frenchies need to be a little more useful. i know they are the worst infantry...but it shouldnt be to the point where a single enemy with a rifle can keep them in one spot.

Chris, not exactly.. at LOW xp a BAR was great because it saturated an area with a reidculous amount of bullets. So you would gain xp without having to be accurate. At a higher xp however a Springfield acts as a sniper rifle and fires fast at the same time(longer range than a BAR and it is a lever action rifle). However at a low xp you cannot hit enough with a springfield to make it effective. At a high xp you will hit 1st shot with a BAR however you will continue to empty you clip and spend time reloading and not killing jerries. So in otherwords BAR=Training Weapon Sprinfield=Elite Soldiers Weapon. Get your studies right :).

lol, i started with a sniper, spec ops, officer and medic(i chose the first option in the ops section). In the end i got up to wave 106, and my best before that was wave 60 XD In the end i had 3 snipers, 2 bazookers 1 medic, 1 officer and 1 engineer. Nice game anyway

buy arty strikes or if lots of infantry use air strikes this will help i got killed buy a arty then 2 drop bombs but it worked you don't need to worry about planes much when you have a aaa gun

oh here is a strategy that can work goo i made it to wave 119 thats good for me ok i bought a officer and a sig a maybe a scout your call wait tell you get 20 tp and buy a aaa gun this should last get a spec op and upgrade and of your men's weapons

oh i suggesting a idea for a new update for the xp bar add numbers were you are and how much more you need to prevent confusion

m1 garand has more stopping power and range than a carbine, i never use carbines and also a 90+xp soldier uses a springfield as his best weapon.

germans changed their tactic and took away 20 soliders loosers and they was replaced by 3 poor trained draftees and 1 sniper

ok im going to say this once this game has unfair brutality so some times its... unfair! sometimes the games shifts in you favor and some times in theres ok mongull i looked at the scores your really good you agree right

hey anyone know how a german TIGER tank got in to my lines at the 5 wave? i had no defnces and the only reason i survived was due to my mine field......:^)

Also, to people having trouble getting past the first 100 waves: you have probably realized by now how important it is to economize your TP; realize that economizing Experience is also crucial. If you flood a field with a lot of basic soldiers, you are effectively spreading your experience very thin. Your play style may vary, but I'd personally take a maxed out gunner or sniper over ten level 1-2 soldiers any day. =D

I'm still refining this strategy, but if anyone wants to try, I found out placing a line of palisades across the screen about 1/5 of the way from the top effectively nullifies enemy mortars and bazookas since they can't get a line of sight on you.

Nice... it's harder than previous updates.. on 50 lvl is relly hard (4 my) before update i can without problems survive to 200-240 wave... now... ehhh...
(i don't like close combat... it can be better...)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the cq combat glitch has a short trem affect on germans 2, i ran my medic right in front of the german and the german stood there for like 2 mins
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i don't know why my spec ops can only throw their grenades over about a quarter of the field, and the panzergrenadiers can throw about three quarters of the map lately
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i like everything else but... Whenever my soldiers get in a close combat situation they always either win and never move again or lose and die.. So mind fixing this? I know this has been suggested multiple times but i reaaaallly want to end this glitch
