ok, there's is a very borring bug, if you select an reinforcement you doesn't want, (such as shotgun for exemple), it costs you 1, then you select the one you really wanted (grenade), and the point of the shotty doesn't come back...

Struggle through until you hit major - then you can start a game with 12 points - use these points to buy a spec op with a BAR marchine gun from the start!!! rambo to go - through him in a trench and hes killer :D

i like it but you should be able to move your guys to the top line to win like they do to yours, its forever a game, you can never win...

Great game! For the next version I would suggest some kind of campaign mode where you play different maps and unlock more weapons as you go. Keep up the good work.

it's tooooo SLOW! More action, more tactical points. It was interesting to play this but only for first 15 minutes. SLOOOOOW -> not exciting -> boring. And add restart button.

its a great game, just that it can be random at times, like suddenly u get hit by an artillery shell tt jus happens to land right in the middle of ur trenches... or how ur special-ops ppl always seem to die first. There should be an easier way to get tactical points. It gets nearly impossible later on when your swarmed by flamethrowers and snipers...

this is crap
The soldier targeting AI is retarded;you cant, for instance, order your troops to kill that freaking bazooka, and they waste their killing fleeing enemies.

This game would be a lot better if it was any good.
1. The AI is a joke, despite the experience "it's-a-feature-not-a-bug" non-explanation. Your soldiers are, quite frankly, stupid.
2. The soldiers stats swing way too much to the extremes; I have yet to see a soldier with a weapon skill of over 30 (with some as low as 10!) UNLESS they start with around 70.
2. The game is ridiculously, painfully, stupidly slow. The guys move too slowly, you acquire points too slowly, THE GAME IS TOO SLOW. And saying the game "takes it easy" in the beginning is the same "it's-a-feature-not-a-bug" BS used to hand wave the poor AI.

(Part 2, because it takes two posts to explain just how bad this is.)
3. Related yet again to the AI issue, having such little control over your own guys is frustrating and useless. Either make it fully automated (which wouldn't work due to the horrific AI) or give the player more direct control over the units.
4. This isn't a strategy game- it's an obtuse and boring dice game. Randomly losing soldiers while advancing up the map, random decision making by your "soldiers," random air and artillery strikes killing ~20 points worth of men an upgrades despite all precautions. It's a joke, and a bad one at that.
I'm going to go play a fun game now.

I look forward to checking this game out when it has been reissued, and updated. Thanks for all your hard work on it!

I think the idea behind this and the detail and upgrades available are good - however the execution is terrible, it seems much to slow and there is little to no tutorial or help available. Even if it is meant to be sandbox like, you need to know somethings.
Further more, the lack of a restart button (at least an obvious one) is a real problem.
