is there any movement to identify what makes your rank increase or having an actual indicator for progress? i've had 7k pt games and have no visible increase then a 2k point game a bit later and my progress will jump ahead ~20%... anybody know what the deal is?

I didn't even know you could advance in this game until now. All you have to do is move all of your troops to the top of the screen. You'll get tactical points. Just make sure you don't leave enemy troops behind. They will count as troops behind your lines!

@astartis: did you have an antenna set up? it make all signaller activities faster.
also, keep in mind that if you signaller gets pinned while signalling, the action gets cancelled and you have to order him again.

IMPORTANT NOTE, refreshing page does NOT mean the mission doesnt count, i was promoted one mission, but there were trees everywhere, so i refreshed and in my ops page, it said i had ranked up

Use the frenchie defence it's great build 2 tenches on sides, bunker in middle, and a trench infront of the bunker with a frenchie in it. Plus a spare frenchie in the bunker. Enemies will concentrate fire on the frenchie. Easy to make it to wave 100.

Pile all your men udner a sandbag wall and camo net on top of your TP bank. Works great for me, I get wave 100+. Just don't buy any mortars, as they are rendered useless by the camo net. This strategy works best with a clear field (eg no trees/rocks)

a good strategy is to just make a line of people in the middle, if u ploay ur cards right u can make it to round fifty

Lol. To new players: if enemies are easy enough, advance; try not to move soldiers next to germans (melee battles usually take forever);and never group too many soldiers; and here is where some of the badges are: http://www.kongregate.com/forums/3/topics/20472

1atticdown, Your tactic for artillery sucks as well, just get a few bunkers for all your troops to crash while the artillery falls around them

I want the option to Court Marshal a Soldier ... I sent a Spec Ops guy up to the top of the screen, over rocks and through the trees to get a German Mortar guy ... well he managed to safely get up there and then he stood RIGHT NEXT to the Mortar guy and didn't shoot while the Mortar guy got off 2 more rounds and wiped out nearly all of my Squad ... Section 8 the MoFo!

i was down to a low budget and i had like 50 frenchies in 1 spot and guess where the german bomb goes 50 frenchng running on fire........

:o kaylen you made a rookie mistake when it says take cover you scatter all troops an artillery explosion AWAY from each other so the germans can only take out 1 at a time
