I liked it better before the updates. now i have to keep pausing ad unpausing things to choose between troops buildings etc. It makes the game take even longer than before and just gts frustrating after a while. Mute button is great.

i had an awesome run, decided not to dig in, just got more troops and gave them BARs, coz i didn't want to use explosives (friendly fire), my guys got killed by a heavy tank. they managed to kill one b4 that with sheer firepower. 1001 ground gained but only 3500 points

I have a couple of suggestions: clear-topped bunkers, so you can see your troops in them. Also, a darker star behind the TP number, depending on the background sometimes I can't tell if I have 0, 6, 8, or 9, heh.

Another point is the poor grammar in the rules section. If you cannot take the game seriously enough to proofread and correct bad grammar, why should I care? This is more of a pet peeve, so ignore me if you just do not care about that sort of thing.

I do not enjoy this game. I find the controls annoying and the learning curve seems ridiculous. I cannot find a reason to keep playing. Perhaps this just is not my genre... 2/5

For all you who think the AI sucks, ask yourself this. If your troops actually did hit most of the time, the Germans would drop like flies and take the challenge out of the game. Ok, so some Germans get through because of your guys' "crap aim". Big deal get over it. And the tank, cerulean, is pretty much only good for covering your trenches, and maybe the occasional blowing up a vehicle.

Hmmmmm... well, I guess it makes sense that rookies would be kinda stupid... I'll give it some time, I actually did relatively well just now using the guide that's linked in the description. I'll give it some more time. I do think the randomness could be tweaked a little bit though (like jeeps in the first couple of waves).

Your own A.I. is actually pretty good. First you have to play enough games to get some really good ribbons. Then you troops will begin starting out with better moral and rifle skills. As troops gain exp they become increasingly smarter. Remember to use concentrate fire and stop fire when needed.

Its actually max squad limit 6 or less to avoid all airstrikes and arty strikes(still a really low chance of them still happening). With the new camo net addition you can add more troops as long as 6 max are outside of the camo net.

remember to keep game simple like what urbz said and try not to excced over 10 troops or you will be bombbed keep it at under 10 also it will make game very slow unless you have the new parts and good compputer

oh yea @ceruleandragon, higher ranked troops do smarter things
(ex a private will shoot the random dude running away in the corner, but the lt. will shoot the guy threatening to blow u all to hell with a bazooka) Officers help too ;)

To punctuate this I tried again. Shortly after starting an enemy truck appeared on the screen (yay random difficulty, not really), so I ordered up a bazooka. He walked onto the screen... and fired right into the back of one of my own guys... he wasn't even in the line of fire. Random traitors?

I don't get it. I try over and over to play and enjoy this game, because so many others do and it seems like the kind of game I'd like... but I really can't. I'd get over the lack of direct fire control over troops if they actually acted intelligently. Or, you know, acted at all. I parked a tank in the center of the battlefield and it just sat there shooting at distant targets while a motorcycle w/sidecar drove up the center, UNDER the tank, and on past the end of the battlefield. It even fired it's cannon at a single guy way off in the corner. The A.I. for your troops is horrible. Why this game is so well liked will always be a mystery I guess.

I love the new patch, just a little complain, I was just experiencing a wave with 4 Tiger I tanks, I was going to call for an Arty strike with the recent Signaller I just had bought, it took me more than 1 minute to get the call, this had happened twice, I wish it could be fixed, because I had 2 Antennas, should be as a minimum, twice as fast as it should normally be.
