lackinglack - That is my entire point! With just using cam nets as a defense against arty, if nothing can stop an arty blitz then we have no defense against such an attack. I am proposing a fix for such a thing because even though it is an arty blitz, it is still arty and should fall under the rules that determine arty in general.

Tanks are horrid if they don't have infantry for support. Tanks engage targets slowly, but can decimate the battlefield with their main cannon. Also, tey provide excellent cover for any soldiers directly behind them.

TheUber i think a german scout probably scouted your map, aka making your camo useless for 10 seconds and then in those 10 seconds they realized they wanted to get rid of you wit ha boss arty happened to me many times before so i dunno this is my theory

i had a flamethrower that went to 1st lieutenant then he just stayed lying on the ground and his moral was 110 and didnt want to do anything until i killed him with an arty strike

theuber - arty BLITZ is not ARTY. they are two totally different events. you can stop ARTY with camo nets. there is NOTHING to stop an arty BLITZ wave. it is extremely damaging.

Two things I would fix in the next patch.
1) I got an arty blitz even though most of my guys were under cam nets. The point of cam nets are to prevent arty from occurring. Fix maybe?
2) Frenchies never used to be scared of their own guns...make it so that they can at least fire then walk again right afterwards.

I love this game; I've been sinking massive hours into it since last week... and all for the glorious cost of free, to boot. I really should be studying for Step 1 though... ^ ^ The game gets a 5/5. It has niche appeal to those who like hard-core strategy, well-designed animations and a dedicated fanbase (check out urbanprophet.com). The micromanaging aspect is actually on par with Myth:TFL. I could imagine this as being a multiplayer game, even... that would be interesting to see. You would have to expand the field and get rid of pausing, though. Good work, urbz!

You will not get hit with artillery (except boss waves) if you have less than 6 units visible. Some things can still happen when paused. These include TNT fuses from enemy engineers, shots from enemy soldiers who have already begun to take aim, and rockets fired from your bazooka that are midair.

Do flame throws run outta juice? I had mine survive all the way up to 62 exp, then he just seemed to not want to kill anyone? He was like a medic running around picking up crates, not once stopping and flaming anyone?

i just decided to test it out so used last stand with 3 tanks
guess what? i lost on wave *24* because all three tanks commited suicide... they literally blew themselves up. EPIC FAIL = TANKS

Actually, someone on urbanprophet.com tested out the weapons. He bought 4 spec ops, gave 2 of them BARs (the ones with the lowest rifle) and the other one Springfields (the ones with higher rifle). The soldiers with BARs killed and leveled the fastest. I believe he also tested this with the M1 Garand and Springfield, and the Garand did better too.

LOL seriously people only buy units/guns that are worth it.. BAR=horrible for high rifle... one kill per clip, look at the kills in a certain time period.. M1 garand is best for high rifle because of stopping power and accuracy...snipers zookas, gunners in bunkers, forward troops to draw fire.. these are the keys to a 10k game ALso, cam nets win the game if you keep em back. Paratroops are worth it because they have specops stats and come with random weapons, mostly tommy guns thats all my tips. :)

i know right lol 6 spartans super soliders lol pwning hehe our own secret weapon and has like 200 health lol so it would be fun its not fun when u lose am i right and all hardwork boom u only get 1.6k i think they made points harder to get

hehe my wave 68 germans killed 255 my bazzoka pwned tiger tank and reg tank and jeep and thn bike but then cannon but most of all pwned 5 guys with one shot and all that 33 exp lol fun bazzoka own lol 3 bazzoka 3 machine gunners spec op sniper medic 2 officers enginneer scout and lots more lol and reg solider pwning with bar but all that and i got only 2k
wtf the game hates u if u have over more than 6 guys personally im sorry but u could still win take out airstrikes at least for germans they got enough things to win with they got more then us

that happens all the time, about grenades/bazooka shells disappearing during 10th wave cleaning.... it happens to your guys and enemies too. and if enemies are aiming at you they WILL keep shooting during a pause.

still need to work on pause, keep hearing shooting. also, the 10 wave cleanup has a small problem...a spec through a nade at the end of wave 29, and in wave 30 it disappeared right in mid air o_O
