Thought I was gonna get survival ribbon this time but once again a lucky panzer shot gets me. i normally lose someone to a mortar/sniper/panzer/arty blitz every time I am going well. I don't think i'll ever get survival ribbon

=\ Oh well, once I loaded a bunker with 3 officer machinegunners with 120 rifle each, 3 meds, 5 frenchies, 2 officers, signaler, and and engineer (A lot of guys lol) and it got blown up by a zooka I sent to his death.... the idiot shot at a german advancing on me and it flew straight over him and hit the dead center of my bunker and everyone in it died XD.

Oh man, what I absolutely loooooove is when you get some normal beginning spawn soldier with 121 rifle XD. Only happened to me once, but I've got a few 100s and plenty of 70s. Well, my strategy doesn't work much since the snipers got badass on the german side, so I'm going to level everyone up to officer to see who is worth the most when upgrade and rangerd, to see if maybe I can make a newer, better strategy.

Signaller reaches officer, 125 rifle. Hopefully will reach wave 100. I started with 20 points and had a clear field which did help.

Heh, except snipers don't fire as fast and do much more damage. And are harder to level up and move waaaaaay faster and can't call airstrikes or arty and... oh yeah, their symbol is a crosshair and a signaler's is a little lightning bolt =|.

Sugnaller up to 100 rifle 44 exp =) By the time he gets to officer he will have 140+ rifle hopefully, spring owns with high rifle imo, basically a sniper

Haha, my major officer hit every shot from anywhere and would unload his clip all one one guy and tear the person to little bits. as soon as he reloaded, he would do it again and ended up being as good as, maybe a half-ranked soldier with a tommy gun lol.

I don't think he means 1 per kill. It would be good like that if it was balanced out, but I'm not sure it would be so easy to balance out.

I dunno, I think it's a balance issue. I mean it's supposed to be harder than hell later, but if you did it by kills, it would make later-game easier than early-game.
Oh yeah, and last game I was just messin' around and got my 56 rifle officer to the rank of major which is higher than me XD and to 176 rifle.

TYPO, when you buy the M3 AT gun it only costs 12 points, it says it costs 15 points.

1. Mortars do require LOS, but it's limited... I.E. if you put a mortar behind a jeep it will shoot, but it will not do so from behind, say, a wall.

Ehhh, well I haven't played in a few months and I had a great strategy that could easily get 40k+ points, but the badass snipers made it much less effective. Anyone have any good strategies they'd like to share?

FFS this is quite hard game the AI targeting is rubbish id like to be able to tell them which target to shoot at so they can take them out 1 by 1

To answer the questions: Wire does hurt and slow anyone who crosses them SOMETIMES. Grenades cannot be thrown out of bunkers. Mortars need LOS to shoot, so if you block them w/walls they are useless.

mortars don't fire behind palasides i have tried they need to see where they are shooting i know it don't look like it but they are acctualy aimin

Tmon, Wire lowers enemy health when they walk through them so they could be worth it, grenades can be thrown out of bunkers and also I dont think mortars do fire behind palisades but I cannot be sure. Sand walls I think they do fire behind.

andi who the hell cares how u play?,this is a random game no winer or loser tactics maybe you have 10 full armed men and a bomb comes,maybe you have 2 mans in a bunker,a bomb come...
