Majesteria medics arent going to heal people beacuse people were complainingabout them running off to the middle of no where to heal guys and only healing 1 hp and running across the map to heal another guy 1 hp and bunning back 2 the other guy so they don't move on there own anymore :)

Arggh!! I had 387 TP built up before veterans day and now you put a tp limit! You should REALLY get rid of it or raise it.

Seriously people, the game itself says that sometimes you will get rolled over. Jamesman--Points accumulate just fine: my best run, I killed 1400+ Germans with 24 dead, 11 upgraded to officer, one officer upgraded to major, and that's only because I surrendered because I had somewhere to go. Other times, I get crushed after 10 minutes. The first couple of waves should be very easy to survive--use your cover and buy an engineer and get trenches instead of bunkers (save bunkers for later) and your men will survive fine for a while.

Need a hint on how to survive? Use your sigs, officers, and medics to collect supplies and they'll have enough xp to call in a rapid arty strike and heal your guys. Put a frenchman in a sandbag position out in front to draw fire from your valuable guys. Invest in snipers and tanks. The badges are just fine in terms of balance--they provide you the edge you need later to get through tough waves without being gamebreaking.
As for whoever get rolled over by a paradrop--as soon as your men have full auto weapons and some xp, big paradrops are like the motherlode in terms of xp.

p.s. with my suggestion below - don't just put him out in the open. stick him in a trench for example - just as long as he's marginally in front of all your other soldiers.

quick tip is to put a cheap frenchie forward as the frontmost soldier in your group (preferably with a medic glued to him). enemies tend to fire at the closest thing they can see. he will surely die but replacing him is cheap and every bullet he eats is a bullet away from your more expensive units.

What great comments this game gets. Yep, it's a hard game, god forbid you get a sense of accomplishment from doing well.
Nice to see the update, but I definitely will miss being able to hoard points. But 30mm and the carbine made my day. Looking forward to the upcoming weeks as the patching continues.
Thanks for the Remembrance Day / Veterans' Day mention too.

And points don't accumulate nearly fast enough to throw out an Engineer, Officer, and a Radio Man then set up an antenna which invariably blows up and then have the points to call in air strikes. Finally, the ribbons and medals earned seem to have no bearing on your troops or their performance. And the idea that you have to survive massive onslaughts in order to earn a whopping 1% chance that a new soldier or air strike is free is pretty worthless. I'd say a 10% chance at least as well as one combat ribbon that either halves tactical point costs or one that makes them easier to earn. Don't get me wrong. I think the game is very good but it needs a little tweaking so that the player gets a little more cushion.
Well, that;s my two cents. Flame away.

I find this game incredibly hard and incredibly unbalanced. Granted, I understand you have a small squad and are defending a patch of land for as long as you can...but...I think tactical points really need to be overhauled so that you earn them faster. My guys usually hold out for a good ten minutes then get annihilated by air attacks or grenades. Bunkers do nothing and can be blown up with a grenade. Calling in a counter strike to clear the air or bombers takes to long for your guys to act. But most annoying is how the enemy just comes at you with 4 jeeps and a tank in one wave. Seriously, how the hell do you defend that? All the advice I find is 'no bazooka guys". I agree because the two times I bought them to destroy enemy tanks, they just stood there for a good four minutes and never fired a single shell.

Don't place a bunker over the 20mm cannon, it'll stop firing :-) My best strategy so far has been to save right off the bat for a tank, pack a bunch of soldiers behind it and then put a bunker over that, clear any airstrikes, and give heroism to my gunners.

Can't tell the difference between a guy on the ground for cover or if he's dead. Both enemies and friendlies miss too much in open lanes of fire. Germans are allowed to completely WALK past my troops. I give you +1 for good sound effects. 2/5
