I love this game, i mean you enter thinking oh, lets just put all my troops realy close in one trench. Then you get your first enemy bombing run, you are now a man, or whats left of you anyways

ultimate tactic
buy a gunner.train him a couple a times with ranger training(he wont get the gun only the granede)every time you do that he gets 5-10 rifle +5-10 morale.after a couple of times make a engineer and put the gunner in a bunker.then just relax and watch the nazis die.(i am on wave 56,200+kill and a gunner with 100 exp and 105 rifle .and hes butchering the nazis)

Last one..At wave 79 all my soldiers got bombarded by some random air strikes...Not those little not good enough bombs.Its the altilleries,damn annoying!GOT 3 OF MY 50 CALS DEAD,2 ONE OF MY BEST SOLDIER DEAD,JEEP DESTROYED and a little puny sniper left with 1 tp point...

It was a bad sight.I have 2 gunners,one wounded and the other almost dead.The stupid 50 cal gunner doesn't see the little Whermacht (How do you spell it?) going down the line.
Managed to spawn a normal soldier and shoot his head off.Gotta hold off the lines again...

Either there is a glitch when you get promoted you get half of the required xp to get promoted again, or it gets added on.

When you have a decently experienced sarge, try giving him a shotgun and a bayonet and put him at the top of the battlefield.

Wow cheap, 2 waffen SS blitz one after the other and when the second one started the panzer grenadier blitz went right into it and I lost my freekin colonel, and the 4 warrent officers in like 2 minutes, "Warrent officers: Red bar rank , basicallly all soldiers 1 with the m1 carbine, another with the garand, and the last with a tommy gun, "Colonel: Silver/Platnium leaf cluster with an m1911 pistol" all had grenades and all died... that was some serious bull...

Oh my god this game would rock if you could play as the german's at one point! "Note to self: make german murder hole as soon as that comes out" Man that would be kickass... MAKE IT!!!

Here's a tip: If you are going to get a halftrack and want to defend with infantry too, don't equip the halftrack with a 75 mm anti tank gun or a mortar! He will blow your infantry to pieces.

And i was like OMG LOL HAHAH!
I was at wave 47 when the Germans changed their tactics the 4th time.
I hate it because they always throw robot installed and highly advanved ai scripted stick grenades at my team,hurting atleast 4 and killing atleast 3.Hurts me mentally too and i lost at wave 48...When they overran me.

lol i had 1 jeep a sniper and 3 soliders all at rank 3 they got wasted at round 45 when a rocket and 2 trucks plus snipers came out of nowhere lol

i want to know when recon is coming out its been in the making for like two years and i have seen like 2 screenshots. lol it seems all vietnam war based games are taking ages. men of war vietnam isnt coming out till july or something. and for those who havent played played men of war i would highly reccomend it (free demo on steam) funnest strategy/tactics game ive ever played kinda like this but better and not always defending. its so awsome you can tell your soldiers to pick up weapons drop their helmets or pick new ones up you access their inventory even tell them to get into vehicles and house and best of all TANKS DONT HAVE HEALTHBARS instead they just get damaged and you repair them. you can even take control of your soldiers omg ive blabbered on for ages sorry its so long

no not for the achievement samuel for the in-game badge.... wave 100 with no deaths... 50 with <5 deaths is easy as shit...
