I know this is seposed to be random and brutal, and was okay with thta, it made me laugh, till now. I had just started, so far I had a gunner, a engy, a specops, and 3 notmal soldiers (43, 40 and 50 rifle)
when, at the bottom of the screen , a SDFK comes and kills ALL of my guys that are out of cover. They had great rifle, they were at the second rank yet they still got POWND early in the game. unfair

Unfair brutality indeed. My mortars can't hit the side of a barn 10 feet away, yet the German's mortar gibbed my medic and engineer spot on, and incapacitated 1 of my 4 soldiers in two hits

Ah man, heck.
Gib here and gib there and all my paratroopers and soldiers were running, except a medic and my top one.
That guy alone(the medic died 5 waves later) survived about 30 waves, killing over 100 soldiers, while everything else i deployed were medics(lol).
It all ended with a mortar. gibbed like 3 men and the remaining medics ran.
Damn, that was one skilled hell of a soldier. he had over 70 rifle...

Blood mary, bunkers lower the fire rate of your soldier, Some soldiers with an already slow fire rate (zooks, officers, snipers) will rarly, if ever shoot while in a bunker. Look at the wiki for more tips and have fun :D
PS: never have more then 6 men without a cam net on the field

Right after that, as all my soldiers ran as a group to the bunker, the bomb landed RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THEM, GIBBING EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM.
The only mortar and spec-ops that survived got hit by an artillery blitz just the next wave...

Ok, so I played again and again because I like this game and I don't want it to suck... One round I intentionally saved up 20 tactical points just to start a round with 20 to buy a tank. After about 10 minutes of game play I was forced to put all my men into my pillbox because 3 cannon things came out and even after commanding my men to target one cannon I still couldn't kill any and lost one man. I figured at this point that I'd just watch this unfold because I had one tank out there, at least he'll kill some people I thought. ABSOLUTELY NOT! I sat here with 6 men in a pillbox and one tank outside for over half an hour watching the tank NOT SHOOT EVEN ONCE until I was overrun! Not even ONE TIME did the tank shoot at ANYTHING, NOT ONCE! I'm never playing this game again!

It's been like 2 years of not playing and I noticed the new changes. I also noticed how HARDER IT IS FOR MY MEN TO SHOOT AT THE ENEMY! Its so irritating to see them walk right up to and past my men and nobody fires! I have 2 bunkers with gunners - loaded with engineers, scouts, signalers, captains, and medics, a trench with a soldier and 2 bazooka guys that's between the bunkers, and an engineer with 90 rifle skill in an artillery trench! I haven't heard ONE shot by the bazooka guys and my engineer shot twice and the rifle guy in the trench has shot once and the machine guns guys are allowing the enemy to WALK RIGHT OVER THEM through the BUNKER, past all the personnel in there then out back were NOBODY takes a shot at them and they slowly cross the line! Plus there's only like 10 enemy on the map! I good medals and went over 150 rounds a few times - I did it a lot, now my guys are just LETTING the germans walk by and not firing a shot!

I have to laugh when my engineer places a mine, I send him to retrieve a crate, and blows up on that very mine. Don't you think they'd be smart enough to know it's still there?

yeah had a half track quad mg pod, sherman, and anti tank gun. then the germans like theri bombs.. and its all fun and games in till the germans use the RCs

dont you hate when heavy Mortars blow up your support guys in your only trench because your on wave 4 and the most important is damaged but can be revived and your medic is crawling away with -1 morale -_-

I love this game, Ive been playing it for a very long time, But there is 1 thing that Is a little annoying to me: the upgrades. I like them, but they look rather bad, like it was just copied and pasted (especially for the Sherman 50 cal. upgrade. A little more artwork would be appreciated. otherwise that, keep up the good work ;D

Crap,Crap,Crap. I had 3 trenches, 1 with 3 soldiers in each, also a medic per trench, and some zookas and specops on the back.
I didn't even pay attention to the message "A German Scout has relayed the details of your defense to his HQ!".
That was my mistake.
5 waves later, an arty strike came and hit 2 trenches. Brains flying everywhere. the surviving trench got hit by a grenade after standing for 3 waves, then i got overrun.

Gotta love when I have my troops target a flak 38 since they are so closely placed, and instead they go after the Panzergrenadier, leading to their ultimate death. Good times, good times.
