this game is good, be better if u could tell your men when and wehre to throw grenades tho. make it much better. along with larger battle fields, playing the same little stretch for, lets admit hours is kind of boring.

Sorry. A lack of tutorial, and the fact that the enemies can be nearly off the screen totally kills what might otherwise be a really cool game. not interested in reading offsite "guides" just to play effectively. To play better? Sure. To know what the hell is going on? No way.

I held the line for 35 mins with just a bunker, a signaller, a spec ops, a sniper, an officer, 2 medics, and an engineer. Lasted 40 some waves. Then a rocket took out my spec ops and they parachuted 20 guys in. Ah well. Great game though 5/5

LMAO I finally figured the damn game out...make a line of flame throwers at their spwn...it took me a while but its working amazingly...u lose one occasionally but not often...

A jeep needs a gunner I expect, but why the hell they give me a barebone jeep for 10pts? (Well I think I could hide my soldiers behind it at least) What the 'moral' does, and shouldn't it be 'moralE'? How the hell to improve it? The game is ve-ery slow, I have managed to get to wave 50 and 200 kills in more than a hour of real time, that hurts, I rarely have more to play straight. The overall impression is being good, and time is the thing that plays its role on the battlefield as well. 4/5

ridiculously tough and random game, my soldiers are shooting blanks while the germans are wiping every single one of my troops in the first 20secs of their lives

There's a bug that currently makes this game very, very easy if you know the basics:
Air Superiority, which is supposed to last for 60 seconds, instead lasts *until you use artillery or air support.* What's more, air superiority doesn't just stop enemy air assaults, it also stops *enemy artillery.*
That means you can just call Air Superiority once and never have to deal with artillery ever again. You'll still get the paratrooper blitz and the artillery blitz (which will probably pwn you), but you won't see any of the normal random artillery barrages.

Airstrikes are very fine, especially against a just arrived forces, it literally wrecks the masses of nazis into the mud. :) Grenades are pretty good in hands of a skilled grenade thrower, my Spec Ops once threw a grenade and whipped out 5 enemies. The same fate could be toyour soldiers, but hey that's war. The minus side: Help is utterly insufficient, say what's the difference between a M1 and a carbine, for the same 2pts? How do you get them points? What determines the rank of an officer, and his ability to generate extra points? When my soldiers are entrenched, and when are they behind a sandbag wall?

well, not a bad game out here. On the plus side: the sound is pretty perfect, though gets repetitive at times, well you can't yet build a death-phrase generator into the game. The accuracy is awful, but this is a plus, since you won't expect yourself sniping everyone the very first time you get into the real battlefield, and those soldiers are recruits at least. But a walked-right-on-top Nazi should get wrecked with a knife or in HtH. There are lots of control buttons in the game, each doing something different, and this is good since as a commander, you need to do lots of different tasks, not just purchasing rifles and recruiting soldiers, you must contact HQ for support of every possible type.

an ok game. It would be nice if it was clear when a soldier was protected by a bunker/trench/sand bag. It would be really nice if I could move a medic into a trench without having to wait for the dead bodies to fade out.

how exactly do you gain ranks? I see ll these options that require me to be captain and such but no explanation on how to do that

the enemy hides under the icons at the side of the playing field, you can't determine whether an enemy is dead or just lying there, you can't target so your soldiers simply wander around targeting WHOEVER... bad bad bad bad bad... I have no idea why Kongregate picked this one for a card.

You have your graphics, you have your sounds, you have your concept. What you don't have, is good execution.
You dump the player first thing into the game without a thought of letting them know what does what and not near enough time to prepare themselves. "What good is an officer or a spec ops soldier? What's the difference between the weapons for the less military savvy?". Your manual was INFODUMP,INFODUMP - no wonder half the people here don't even bother. Through the number of times I tried this, I had one, ONE supply crate dropped anywhere near my troops, every other time was at the very TOP of the map, allowing the Germans to grab my goodies instantly. Your difficulty curve went from "minor squad of pistols" to "a tank and several rocketeers", g'dammit. Also, controls were a minor pain, I couldn't get a soldier to move occasionally and I couldn't tell who I was trying to move. Perhaps if you cleared these things up the game could be more approachable.

Oh, and not only does the computer do all of this, it cheats also, I have had a sniper killed while cloaked, by a regular German soldier, who had a rifle, who was far away. I've had spec ops killed by the same German soldiers, I assume you don't know what spec ops do in actual warfare either, from how poorly implemented they were. I feel this game as it currently is, is a complete and utter insult to gamers playing it. On a side note, I personally almost feel like you're trying to insult the allied forces during World War 2. 1/5 wish I could give a 0.

With that guessing system you can have several of your troops die, not only this, but the game doesn't even tell you what units do well in what buildings. And the supposed help your getting from crates, is utter nonsense. I have had more crates land on the enemy side, then anywhere close to my side. Also, more often then not my troops will randomly toss a grenade to destroy the supply crate when no enemies are around.

Not only can you be whipped out by grenades. Your troops will never throw their grenades even in a time of crisis, and miss even more with their grenades then they do with their guns. Also jeeps are a complete waste of tp, they can not run over troops, (weak) They can not even fire at all until they level up (supposed lvl ups) And for the price of 2 of these you could of had a tank. The bunkers and other things you can build, it doesn't say if your units are actually in them you have to guess.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Okay, let me explain why, people are saying they hate this game, for one, no matter what for most people the accuracy between your troops and the enemies is 5 points at least in their favor. The enemy can hit you randomly with a rocket troop as the first unit, as it did to me. You can randomly be whipped out by grenade spamming by the enemy.

Also, to those who say that your soldiers move too slow, its a defense game! You only need to get your first 4 soldiers into position, and then anything you make should have enough cover fire to move up.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Just cause you got screwed over by one of your troops that YOU made a mistake with, doesnt mean you should be mad at the game :)

I don't know why people find that this game sucks. I'm not saying it's the best game here, because it definitly isn't, but really it is a decent game. There is always room for tweaks and improvements and if you've played the first Mud and Blood then you would know that this is a major improvement. And complaining that it's too hard, it is slightly random on how hard you get hit in the beginning and what sort of cover is around, oh well, play again then.
