I HATE THIS GAME SO MUCH I CANT EXPRESS IT. I HAVE NEVER PLAYED A GAME THAT PISSED ME OFF SO MUCH. WHAT IS THE POINT OF A TACTICAL GAME WHERE YOU HAVE ALMOST NO CONTROL OVER THE SOLDIERS?

2nd wave. Sdkfz 222 attacks me. I think to myself "well, it's a little early for that but alright." manage to kill the gunner. Alright, sweet. 3rd wave. ANOTHER ATTACKS ME FOLLOWED BY A PAK38. Fuk you too Germans.

Try visiting the wiki (http://www.mudandblood.net/wiki) if you're confused, it can be really quite useful for figuring out things like why you're soldiers are just standing there before shooting, and how to avoid certain events such as artillery attacks.

I draw many parallels between this game and Company of Heroes 1 and 2. Playing MnB2 taught me what a Nebelwerfer was before I'd ever encountered my friend and rival using it, and when I heard it being fired from the fog of war in CoH, I KNEW that was hell coming to collect, and managed to save my squads. Now in company of heroes 2, I'm learning smart playstyles from each game that are useful in the other.

Method for getting hard badge: The first thing I bought was an engineer. They are VERY well armed. Build a trench in the bottom of the map towards the middle. Put 2 of your original soldiers in there, put the other two on either side of the trench so hidden enemies can't sneak by. If you have more than 6 units at a time, NAZIS WILL KILL YOU. So build a camo net over your trench to hide the people inside it...they won't count towards the 6 troops that way. Get one or two special ops and put them in the trench under the net. Get a medic and put it in the middle of the trench to heal everyone at once. Get a sniper. Snipers can shoot THE ENTIRE MAP -AND- see hidden enemies. Get 2 or 3 more special ops and put them in your trench. Build a camo net over your sniper and build 2 or 3 more snipers. I easily made it to Wave 75 like this.

This is actually great for those who play strategy war games. Lots of features here that require a certain tyoe of soldier which was exactly what was needed during world war II. Would be nice to have better controls though. Hopefully the developer will make an even better strategy game.
Oh and as for those complaining and saying how stupid the game is, you can go screw yourselves. This game for one thing was based on what happened during WWII and, as I said earlier, the game has a lot of what the military had/needed back then. Veterans day is coming up, so you might as well play this to know a little of what happened back then.

Honestly not sure what I was doing. The units were never really introduced so it took me a while to figure out how to get new ones. Also the gameplay felt pretty muddy, units never really seemed to do what made sense or if they were I couldn't tell because there it doesn't say what they are doing. Maybe highlighting their target when you do a mouse over would help. Also this game could really use levels rather than just a seemingly random survival mode.

Somehow got the Hard Badge on my second run (still not even sure about strategic application of each unit/order). I did this: 1) Let my first 4 guys rack up 6 points. 2) Buy a 50cal mounted gun, put it under a tree if possible. 3) End up buying 2 more 50's, give a few soldiers grenades (guys way out front), and give your best soldiers M1 Garands. Only have 1 scout and medic at a time. I stayed under 10 casualties somehow and made it to wave 53 with 200+ kills after walking away from the screen for 10 minutes.

This game cheats. wave 2? infiltrator that your troops can't see till he already has melee killed on of your riflemen. wave 10? yeah you're set up in your trenches but oh, flak36, clears your trenches with one burst. wave 15? yeah you built your troops back up. here, have a tank. fawk that

I Deployed 20 french men. I knew they were inexperienced but we were Outnumbered. Out of the 20, 2 stood out. with a morale of 34 and 35, I knew they weren't going to abandon the lines. Then The enemy's artillery
Took out my Camnets. 18 French Men went running home. I didn't care.
I Gave Ranger training to those two. And they lasted. they Lasted till the Tanks came and ended their Heroic efforts. I shall Remember Their names, G.Sisi and F.Pachini. You'll be remembered.

So many good things about this game and so many things need fixing. I really want to like it more. A.I. needs help, upgrading and deployment menu is ill conceived for an RTS, and for the life of me i cant figure out the cover/obstacle algorithm. Why have a randomly generated battlefield if it doesn't actually do anything? I don't get it. finally, the stats on soldiers are too random; if I want a medic, I want him to be a medic, if I call in an officer he should be better than a grunt etc... otherwise, this game has amazing potential. I keep playing it more out of curiosity than actual fun. It looks like there may be an updated version on mudandblood.net ...i'm going to check it out

Sorry, but games where you have to bring better stats from a previous life to win is cheating in my book. 1/5 Stars from me.

I see few bad comments towards the game and as a fan and player of MnB2 for a few years now I can see my initial frustrations here still but I progressed past them to see that this is one of the best flash games ever.
