My M3 cannon just killed it self. What kind of gunner would point the barrel straight to the ground and say. " I think we can hit him, FIRE!!!". STUPID GUNNER!!!!!

Been playing this for years, love it, but i sure wish there were a way to make tanks or other areadmgunits to not fire on own location.

I've beaten tanks on wave one. I simply made a frenchy and put him on top of the tank and watched the tank suicide taking the frenchie with it.

60+ rifle skill frenchie in desperate last ditch attempt match, shoots point blank and misses, gets two shotted immediately.... (facepalm, changes to another game)

ASDSGRESDF*CKIN!!! some bug keeps sending my troops off if i click them every now and then.. GAWD!! really they souhld fix this.. it happens when i give heroism to a soldier, then the next soldier i select will be sent off.... even if i dont have an officier..

i had a german run right past my barbwire and went though all my defenses all my guys shot at him and more ran past will they where shooting at him they need to let you shoot the units or speed up the officer ablity

Me: Alright medic your the fastest, you have to go behind enemy lines and recover that supply crate. we need that ice cream!
Medic: But sir I'm not a fighter I'm pretty much unarmed
Me: Exactly that's why we'll cover you with these spec ops over here
Medic: okay *runs off to get supply crate
Me: okay boys get your grenades ready...

I have to admit, the hard badge was challenging, but you can achieve it and barely scratch the surface of the in game medals. Pray that you can get a map with a few trees near the bottom, along with maybe 1-2 soldiers with morale in the 20's and a rifle skill around 26-32+ (Having the Bronze star and it's higher awards, which add to the chances of getting a free soldier at deployment help in this case). Then move your highest rifle troops, described before, into the trees, as trees provide cover. Then wait until wave 3, as you'll have 6 tactical points by then, provided you didn't use any. Provide your highest rifle skilled soldier with a ranger kit, as it provides a free weapon, grenades, and a rifle and morale boost. Wait until you have 6 tactical points, then give him a BAR. You'll hopefully have a rifle 36+ soldier with a light machine gun capable of firing up to 8 rounds every burst (1 point in rifle skill is a 1% chance to hit an enemy, meaning a 40 rifle skill has a 40% to hit, which is why the BAR is so deadly). Then give Ranger Training to your second-highest rifle skill, then give him a BAR. Hopefully, this will allow you to last until wave 50, but you still may have to bring in a medic and/or a few more units to finish the job, as the game is random to a large extent. This is just a strategy guide, so by no means does it ensure victory, but it does intend to help you achieve victory.
