Found that having a defensive line consisting of only shotguns and BARs is the most badass sounding defence there is. Pretty effective, too. If it's in the top half of the field.

hmmmm an odd thing happened... i was on wave 63 with 0 deaths when suddenly m machinegunner started to slide backwards like he was being dragged.. has this happened to anyone else? oh yah i then lost the game becuz of 2 blitzes in a row
