Was really fun until the game glitched and suddenly changed the battlefield, leaving all my troops and buildings behind.

I know that randomness can spice up a game sometimes, but this one is just completely ruined by it.
When your tank is one a slow moving soldier from the time he spawns to the time he reaches to the bottom of the map and doesn't hit him once, there's something wrong going on. I realize it was unlucky, but honestly, good game design shouldn't let things like that happen.
As it is, the only 'strategy' in this game is in minimizing the chance that randomness will hurt you, and that's not a good thing. It's a shame: This game could have been awesome. It has the makings of an awesome game, but you just totally failed to implement it.

This game is essentially a watching game. There's no tactics involved, it's slow as hell, the chance factor is much too high (as in, being shot at point blank range apparently doesn't kill enemies?). This is a pure number cruncher and hardly something that qualifies as a game.

Why are both the game and kongregate awarding medals and badges for a completely randomized game :S Especially the medals suck really badly. Some medals can't be earned afterwards, because you had to have like an average of 50 waves after 10 battles for example :S How can you do that to a player??? If you're unlucky in the beginning, you'll never get the medal, unless you start all over. In my first battle today, I had to face two enemy snipers in the beginning. Completely lame... Still 4/5

Hehe my guy with a shotgun misses when the enemy is right next to him like 4 times. Then the enemy gets up and goes to the bottom of the screen.

I don't know what all the fuss uis about. But it's not hard. It's fairly easy when you know how to play. Just practice, and you can find your own stategeys. Like mine (I'm the rank when you can use upto 20 tticals points for free, second to last rank), I get AAA and put 2 men on each side with BARS, So, i have 4 BARS, and a AAA shoting planes down. Just pratice.

Game is still great.
It beeing slow can actually be one of the strengths.
If you want heavy action, just taunt the germans every 20 sec.

Come to think of it, it gets better when you get higher ranks, try comparing a general to a captain :), and if they dont shoot, put yourself in the soldiers position, could you shoot at a german behind a huge rock (the rocks are big here...)

if you odnt like this game, tis cuz its to hard for you. someone tries to put some realism and difficulty into a game an ppl hate it. if you want an easy game with no random factors at all, why dont you go play pong.

This is taking ages, and it sucks really hard. Its really annoying to play this game, there aren't even instructions. I dont like it because this game is made to get points for the Game , not the fun for it. so i disagree that this is the new challenge. Worse Game ever 1/5

The changes to M1 Garand wrt. movement f**d up balance, especially with medal giving all your troops M1 Garand at start, making game from my first impression after changes that much harder.

Hmmm.... My tank had 62 exp vs thier tank and a support fire spec ops 100 rfile killer, wow they use their tank shells more often :(, but I killed 389 germans!

And I would add than you should reduce the grenade range or dammage, very frustrating when your five soldier couldn't kill a simple man at the other edge of the screen, who kill you in one or two grenades.
