Way, way, too slow. It needs a full(er) tutorial, or maybe drop down menu's for units, structures, upgrades, etc. This would fix about 95% of initial confusion.

Got the card second time around. I was quite surprised because I didn't know what wave it was even when the game was over. This game has a nice concept, but really extremely poor execution. I'm never going to play this again.

Even with the various suggestions from forum threads, and even detailed comments on Kongregate, API, and over months of possible editing, this game still needs far more work, and still feels rather...unfinished. I appreciate the creator for trying to make updates, but they don't help. There's no point in adding in more units if you don't explain them, and you should probably finish polishing the old units. Even though this creator was given time to polish this game, he still lacks the mistakes, the stupidity of AI in this game. Points don't come fast enough, but makes it impossible. I'm not quite sure, but I believe the creator also decreased the stats limit of each character. I got a sniper with 20 rifle...If you added more points for a "fun" factor into the game, (3 per wave), I think you would really make this game good. Even if the AI is stupid, giving us more points would let us experiment with the various units and feel like a real war. My score of 3/5 still stands.

Being able to beat a game doesn't make it a good one. This one pretty much sucks. Slow, boring and confusing. Bad UI, bad gameplay.

2) To everyone out there who think this is an epic fail and that the computer cheats: you are a noob at this game (I once was) and you need to take some time to learn it. Its difficulty curve is steep at first. play the game til you rank up once and you will see what i mean.

A nice game, but it does need a:
- Mute button
- Speed select thing
- Smarter friendly AI
- The ability to point out a target and concentrate fire maybe for free with a commander
- Better trench system maybe make soldiers have to take one of two or three positions in it so that they are obviously in the trench.
But overall a good game.

There is no tutorial, the points don't come fast enough, the enemy uses high cost stuff WAY to early in the game. Second wave a flam thrower guy and a missile guy and two solders. Four waves later I got bombed by Artty. No thanks, fix this game and I'll bumb your score. 2/5

First decent game to be featured with badges and a card by Kongregate in months.I have been playing this game on and off since it was first posted and never thought it would be featured.The thing I most want,Urbz ;),is a graphic/quality toggle...the main thing that keeps me from scoring higher is how long I can run a particular instance of flash player before it locks up or crashes,I kept one running for like 4.5 days real time once...yeah...that's basically what ends a good run eh:flashplayer gets clogged on all the bullet marks and body bits...after a long time anyhoo....toodles.

It will seem like I am killing, I will have like 16 troopers 4 turrets then 7 of their guys will come up and grenade everywhere and all but 2 of my guys die. So it seems good but theres no great defense for that.

Pwnz... why is leaving a negative comment spamming?!
The reason why there are so many negative comments is that many people are angry with this game. And rightly so- it's dire. It's not as though we're not explaining our problems with it. It's overly luck based, far too slow, glitchy, boring, illogical and poorly explained. And as far as I know no WWII battles were fought in pretty woodland glades.

Actually very boring to play. Gameplay should be at least twice as fast.
Needs sound controls.
Also:
Jeep 500 / 500 hp: gunner died in seconds. Useless thing for 10 points. At least make the gunner not able to die without the jeep taking damage. If you pay 10 points for a jeep and this happens, you just lose.

This game is ridiculous...
It could have been a nice game, but it really isnt user friendly, and the fact that UI is in the way of soldiers sometimes doesnt help any...
Good effort though, i am sure it took a lot to get it where it is, keep trying!

Points don’t accumulate fast enough. The soldiers don’t follow orders in a timely manner. They don’t shoot fast enough or at all sometimes. The game play is so slow I loose attention. Where’s that damn pause button again? Cause some point in time, if I’m really playing this game to get anywhere, I’m gonna need to poop. Eat too, sleep some, finish college… wow – what a disappointment. Who tested this before bringing it to my attention? Cause that guy (gal) – took a major bribe or something.

Potential is there, but this doesn’t work. Tips don’t do squat when you don’t know what you’re doing. Even after reading the INTEL, it’s just too much. I’ve got 50 frickin’ little buttons I’m trying to figure out. It could be popular somewhere down the road, but make it user friendly. When’s the next wave? How many have I gone through? Way too many features and no explanation. I’ll still play this like it’s crack cause I know it has depth. But seriously, guide book!!?? Something?!

This game is way too much luck-based, no one can deny it ...
Even with a godlike defense, German soldier can 1 hit kill anyone with any weapon if they want.
And german artillery are way too powerfull and hit everything you have.

This game is honestly not a whole lot of fun. It would be nice to be able to select your targets, because my soldiers seem to be retarded and refuse to shoot a German standing RIGHT next to them. And add a fast-forward button, this game is so slow.
