I've encountered 2 bugs in this game.
One was where i was about to be overwhelmed by germans, and they all suddenly went back to the top of the screen lol.
The second one was where i got hit by a plane strike, and the next thing you knew, 3 waves of germans just came out, gayness lol

Hmm it was working for a while, but now I have pkedpker's problem, I just get a black screen after the ad, and when right clicked it says Movie not loaded.

This game is good, but i've got a suggestion though.
Make it so that weapons can be picked up by units, coz if people die, i'm sure their weapons don't automatically become damaged right?

I just completed all three badges in one round, it was quite easy as there was a big rock in the center about halfway up the field so I created a trench and bunker right behind it and by the end I had 4 soldiers with BARs, 4 machine gunners in the corners of the bunker, 2 medics, 1 officer and a signaler. I lost maybe 4 soldiers (One engineer, a medic and two frenchies) until a flaming guy ran into my camp and burst my entire team into flames which was slightly annoying as i was doing so good but funny at the same time as it's a rather random way to lose your entire team.
I really don't get why people complain about this game so much, it's a lot of fun once you get into it.

Lol Guit Pops' whining never seems to stop... and it does go on forever. Not a bad thing, you know. Rather refreshing, really. High replay value, tons of options, lots of learning involved... this game is a great strategy game. 5/5, absolutely love it.
Sure, it might take some actual thinking power and patience, which obviously isn't for a lot of impulsive, instant gratification youngsters out there, but it isn't THAT hard, really. Once you get over the learning curve, it's really, really fun.

Warlord: I've played hundreds of tactical sim games, ranging from cardboard-counter-based like Squad Leader to strategic-level games like the Civ series and the Total War games. I agree with the others that it would make the game cheesy if every shot were a one-hit-kill, but missing guys that are practically on top of you shows that the game writers have no understanding of, well, how guns work.

Oh yeah, and the whole layout is so confusing - EVERY SINGLE BUTTON LOOKS THE SAME!! You have to search through every last one before you find the one you're looking for!! AND DOES IT EVER STOP?!? ARE THERE WAVES, OR DOES IT JUST GO ON FOREVER?!? 2nd worst excuse for a game I've ever seen.

geez people, just because you can't play a game very well doesn't mean you need to freak out and blame the creator. not everything in life is spoon fed to you, and if you can't man up and figure out that there are such things as adversity in life, then you can go play some namby-pamby game for toddlers. seriously. and for those of you who think, "oh, its too hard to hit someone", if the game had a higher hit rate, then you'd probably be complaining about how often your guys are dying.
That said, I respect urbz very much for putting out a really good open-ended game. The success of the player really depends on how creative (or not) they are and how they respond to new obstacles.

So I played the game a little more and its o.k. I like building up a nice base. i have 2 bunkers and 4 trenches. about 10 guys and a signal tower and radar.
What i don't like is that there is still no way to protect your men. They just throw grenades and blow you up. I have medics but i still loss guys

HOW IS THIS GAME FUN?!? It's sooooo slow and besides, who wants to play a "realistic game" on Kongregate? All of the best games are unrealistic in some sense: DOLPHIN OLYMPICS - BLOONS - FANTASTIC CONTRAPTION - I'm gonna go play some of those games...

So much effort has been put in and yet it's such little fun to play. Too slow and too caught up with being 'realistic' to be interesting.

war, you are right about the fact that if you went to war, we would all think about commiting susicide. in war people die, and that could be you, thats why people are retreating, and after they load, the are scared, and shiver and aim, and hit or miss. so don't complain. (ps: witch is better AAA or tank??)

Uh, It's far from realistic to see someone miss a guy that's RIGHT in front of you. Anyone could shoot someone a foot in front of them.

Kratos lets see you fight against an endless army and hit every target in one shot doesnt any one think its very reaalistic because they miss? other wise you kill every thing and its no fun plus they might be a little afraid so lets see you people makea game better eh?! cant can you?if you can i cant wait to play it it will probaly suck though because this game rocks! its better then some games at least!SO LETS SEE YOU MKAE SOMTHING BETTER and stop whing! its realalistic instead of super soldiers that kill every thing and you have to click the yellow button for it to go to the game.

there was a troop standing infront of 5 of my french resistance units. y dont they just stab him with there pointy tips on there guns???? its easyer then reloading there guns 5 times and shooting, then finaly hitting him...

This game is not very good. It is boring, and has several annoying flaws. First, there needs to be a mute button somewhere (if there is one, I can't find it). Secondly, there needs to be some way to cancel the purchase of a new weapon for your troops. It is really annoying when you click on the wrong gun by mistake and then you are stuck with it. Also, you can click on the new guns multiple times and it continues to subtract credits from you even though you haven't used the power-up on anyone yet. The accuracy is annoying, people stand right in front of you and your guys miss. This game needs serious improvement. 2/5.

when this game first game out i played it. and it needed work done... work was done and it feels the same... yeah... not a good game. great idea tho.
