Slow & Annoying. The inability to direct fire or of soldiers to shoot what is right in front of them SUCKS.
I wanted to like it, but I can't.

This game is too grindey; I'm supposed to play it a thousand times to unlock stuff. I'm not even really playing the game, I just spend my points and hope for the best because the game doesn't really let me do anything else.

Not a -bad- game, just not the most entertaining or easy to understand.
Extremely easy once you get a decent map. My current game has been going on for over five hours, the last two of which I haven't even been watching or replenishing my forces. So far, I've lost two regular soldiers and one of two of my officers.

one of my guys got on fire. he ran into a tree and set another guy on fire. that guy ran to another tree which set two guys on fire. i lost

Not only does this game suck in general.
It doesn't have a mute button.
And it has really sucky music to add to the general fail of the lack of mute button.
1/5 because really? I hate this game.

There is no sure strategy to win, there are always times when you will be slaughtered at the start. This in a way makes the game more fun as it's never the same old routine over and over. For formations read through the links posted in the games info section. This game is a great game, it just takes time to get used to it.

Oh, right, I forgot about that! You can't move someone on top of a soldier's dead body, because you will end up selecting the dead soldier instead. Even though they're DEAD. And can't move.

"it takes a good half hour for the first 10 waves to go by. giving you like 12 points to work with..." Use the Taunt button when you're waiting; it'll spawn more guys (not sure if it simply starts the next wave) and give you points.

When I started playing this game, it was frustrating. When I got good at it, it was boring. The buttons are a sloppy mishmash, you can't deselect soldiers, the game lags more and more horribly on even the best computers during extended play, and abominable misspellings and barely-comprehensible sentences are everywhere. Nice explosions and sound effects, though.

This game is stupid.... why do they shoot at someone accross the field and not next to them. Crappy controls, stupid people and french resistance r crap. 2/5

does this game ever end? the slowest freakin attack ever and it takes a good half hour for the first 10 waves to go by. giving you like 12 points to work with... weak.

This game looks extremely interesting. I am quite sure there are many advanced tactics to use, however, it seems I do the best when I am in the bottom corners. I'm not quite sure what stuff is good for. Barbed wire? Smoke? But its definetly interesting to experiment. I HATE when my best unit with a machine gun gets killed. How can I protect my best guys? thats the question!

this game is good, be better if u could tell your men when and wehre to throw grenades tho. make it much better. along with larger battle fields, playing the same little stretch for, lets admit hours is kind of boring.

Sorry. A lack of tutorial, and the fact that the enemies can be nearly off the screen totally kills what might otherwise be a really cool game. not interested in reading offsite "guides" just to play effectively. To play better? Sure. To know what the hell is going on? No way.

I held the line for 35 mins with just a bunker, a signaller, a spec ops, a sniper, an officer, 2 medics, and an engineer. Lasted 40 some waves. Then a rocket took out my spec ops and they parachuted 20 guys in. Ah well. Great game though 5/5

LMAO I finally figured the damn game out...make a line of flame throwers at their spwn...it took me a while but its working amazingly...u lose one occasionally but not often...

A jeep needs a gunner I expect, but why the hell they give me a barebone jeep for 10pts? (Well I think I could hide my soldiers behind it at least) What the 'moral' does, and shouldn't it be 'moralE'? How the hell to improve it? The game is ve-ery slow, I have managed to get to wave 50 and 200 kills in more than a hour of real time, that hurts, I rarely have more to play straight. The overall impression is being good, and time is the thing that plays its role on the battlefield as well. 4/5

ridiculously tough and random game, my soldiers are shooting blanks while the germans are wiping every single one of my troops in the first 20secs of their lives

There's a bug that currently makes this game very, very easy if you know the basics:
Air Superiority, which is supposed to last for 60 seconds, instead lasts *until you use artillery or air support.* What's more, air superiority doesn't just stop enemy air assaults, it also stops *enemy artillery.*
That means you can just call Air Superiority once and never have to deal with artillery ever again. You'll still get the paratrooper blitz and the artillery blitz (which will probably pwn you), but you won't see any of the normal random artillery barrages.

Airstrikes are very fine, especially against a just arrived forces, it literally wrecks the masses of nazis into the mud. :) Grenades are pretty good in hands of a skilled grenade thrower, my Spec Ops once threw a grenade and whipped out 5 enemies. The same fate could be toyour soldiers, but hey that's war. The minus side: Help is utterly insufficient, say what's the difference between a M1 and a carbine, for the same 2pts? How do you get them points? What determines the rank of an officer, and his ability to generate extra points? When my soldiers are entrenched, and when are they behind a sandbag wall?
