for the last time, ITS SUPPOSED TO BE HARD!!!!! if all you did was play a baby game that told you eveything you need to do to win, would that be fun??? just grow up, and stop complaining

if you could actually control your guys so that you can actually kill rocket launchers and the flamethrower which your troops decide to ignore, then this game could be ok

I give it a 1/5 because it moves way to slow, is too complex for the majority of it's players, and is just not fun. The author should have focased more on the fun factor, not the massive amount of options factor. I would be fine if the soldiers moved a little faster, and there was only like 10 upgrades, but there is a large amount of upgrades, and little fun or smoothness in the running.

Oh, and while we're at it. This whole advance thingie: Doesn't work. Had my three men sitting a the top of the screen for 3 enemy waves... All of my men, that is.

this game has a pinch of luck and the rest is strategie... for all who say this is all luck arent correct. people that say the action buttons should be moved are also incorrect. the buttons are fine because there is no point in putting people where you can't get to them easily... so people........wow...thats all i have to say about that right there.

this game is so much harder then when it came out..... and he needs to limit the arty shots.... and improve the rifle aim....

It is really hard. No joke. I got 20 kills, I still have no idea how to get a crate, and too many germans got across. My guys would not shoot them!!!
1/5

Needs a wave-counter. But apart from that: Great game! A welldeserved 5/5... And my grand-father was a Wehrmacht-soldier.

If you really hate the sound that much just turn off your speakers or something. If you want to listen to music that much use your mp3 player or something. Fact of the matter is the sound is actually needed to warn you so you don't get your troops blown up with one air raid. Otherwise, strategy and playtime make the game easier.

easy badges/card. placed my starting soldiers in trees, got an engineer, trench, medic, then went afk to save up for tanks.
gotta be lucky though. i only had to play the game once.

In the REAL world war I don't thimk the Germans ACYUALLY walked through the trenches and through the soliders although I could be wrong...

Poorly designed, action buttons should be moved off of the active portion of the map, hiding the buttons does not help. Enemy soldiers should not be able to move through your defenses with no penalty - especially bunkers. Also being totally randomized is pointless, it makes the game more a function of luck than of skill - again, poor game design.

Oh, yes. And don't forget that the pause function needs a "restart game" or "return to menu" option, not to mention a mute.

Yet another game that needs more editing. The stats at the end are nice, but how about a pause function that displays statistics?

Most important in beginning: Trenches, medic & signaler. Trenches & medic to keep them alive and signaler to cancel airstrikes.
Most important for middle of game: bunkers filled with gunners & snipers. You'll see what i'm talking about.
Rest of the game: once you can afford it, get a tank, put it in front of one of your bunkers, repeat with another tank and another bunker, etc. Last tips, build redundancy, have multiple signalers in multiple bunkers and try to keep a medic in each bunker. That way, even if you loose a whole bunker you can recover. If you get a whole bunch of points and dont see and Germans come on the screen or an "Incoming Arty" announcement, its a sniper wave, hit em with close air support until you think theyre gone. Lastly, ribbons rock, read what they do online, go and get them, use the reset button if you messed up and cant get one you want.
