great concept, poor execution. It is ridiculous that anyone should be able to walk directly past a bunker filled with 3 machine gunners, much less five soldiers!

This is a pretty bad game. It has potential, but not being able to tell your troops who to shoot is just stupid. It's the reason a pyro was able to run straight towards a machine gunner and 4 soldiers without a single one of them even taking a shot at the pyro. Perhaps a tutorial would help to considering there's a bunch of options that are never explained and you're being shot at while trying to figure out what each button does. Overall, just not enough thought was put into this game and it's a failure.
And... MUTE BUTTON!!!!

Would be nice if it gave promotions after a game, rather than at the start of the next game. It's more logical, both from a gameplay perspective (you get to take advantage of the points you earned when you earned them) and a historical perspective (promotions were typically given as a result of a battle/mission).

Nice game, but it lags horribly. Add a quality control and a mute button, I'd prefer to listen to my songs rather than shots...

u lot are ungrateful; this game was even worse when it first came out, the game publisher did a helluva load of work on this game and all u lot can do is complain.

Why is it when my guys are fighting, they stop moving? CPU is able to keep moving when they fight.
Why does a player's guy not even within the blast radius of a gernade can die, but a near direct hit on their guys appears to do little damage.
What is with the warner brothers bullcrap of a bullet hole outline around cpu guys. They don't have that kind of trouble hitting the player.

he made the game way to hard, not to mention the explosion factor is messed up.... one zooka and BOOM good by 4 lut spec ops -,-

Totally, totally, totally lame. Could be so fun too. Way too slow, and you're doing great then some guy with a bazooka kills everyone. Fffffft.

okay.
i didn't get the card or the badges, and I got to wave like 120 or so and then was done.
I'm using firefox... there is no reason it shouldn't work with my browser.

Ooh, I actually ahve a question, too. Why is it so difficult for engineers to build trenches perpendicular to the direction of attack? The weird angles they appear at is very off-putting.

My final comment now that I've played it more. This game is not good yet I somehow can't stop playing. It's a strange form of masocism.
The worst part is usability. 1) User interface is as uncomprehencible as it can be. You are thrown right into the game and have no clue what to do. First there should be a help that explains the main stats - rifle, exp, morale and ranks, how they are measured what they are good for. Then the differences of troop types. Muting sound. A save maybe seeing as long one game can be.
Then the random should be toned down a bit. No arty plane so early in the game.

The goal is to both gain and hold ground.
Usually you hold the ground till it becomes to dangerous to do so then you bunker down and hold for as long as possible

How come the badge fails to mention you can't hire more than ten units or you aren't eligible for the badge? I had a grand total of 13 men my last mission, and I survived 125 waves, and lost most of them at the end to a double air strike. Rather annoying, but I am pleased this finally got badges. Keep up the good work urbz!

after literally losing like 10 times, I just very easily survived 50 waves without losing even a single unit. ><
The strategy was rather simple too.
double gunner, triple trench, then have an engineer literally bunker building and hopping until I was nearly at their side, setting up a radio tower in the back, using aerial superiority and then setting mines ALL on his side.
