the last boss at the end killed me 3 times. but thats only because the rockets he shoots make you fly far. helpful tip DONT JUMP unless ur absolutely sure it wont hit you.:)

Music-Since there were none, it kind of was a little empty, but the sounds were excellent.
Gameplay-It ran pretty smoothly and the controls were pretty much pick-up-and-play. Only a handful of weapons, but it was ok.
Visuals-For a flash game, this game had a LOT of good visuals. There were pretty backgrounds and cool boss and enemy designs.
Difficulty-Of course, this game varies difficulty by having different options, but with only two options, it felt empty. they should've added a Hard mode and down-graded the Normal mode to feel, well, Normal.
Not too diffcult for some hardcore shooter/platforming fans, but somewhat hard for new players to the genre.
Overall- This game deserves a 4.75. Some levels were outright stunning like the train explosion scene and the Missle level at the end. It didn't really have a story (at least not in written text) and was short in levels. But the visuals and longer levels (plus checkpoints!) helped this game out.

Finally. Not that hard at all. The bosses were pretty interesting and one ESPECIALLY weirded me out (that weird human-like crawler).

This game is excellent! I wish it had music but it's such a great use of Flash that I really don't even feel right making any suggestions for it. 5/5!

This is the definitive shoot em up on Flash, if you ask me. It beats the previous holder (Thing-Thing, by default) by a long shot. My only gripe would be that this game has this awesome physics engine, but I feel like it isn't used enough. You can't do anything like push a box on enemies to kill them or use a box for cover. Also, the rope parts were very entertaining, maybe a grapple gun next game? Those are really just my preferences, but just making a sequel would be great.

good game. the bosses take a while to kill and you end up wasting most of your ammo, but still a good game. I think it is more like Unreal flash then metal slug.

This is the absolute best game I have ever played here on Kongregate. I rate this 5/5. Make a Intrusion 2 with harder levels and this game is sold.

Game really wants to be Metal Slug, but isn't quite as good. Uses some of the same sound effects, even! Best things: Graphics are decent for flash. Worst things: No music, no invincibility period after taking a hit means that one SMG guy can mow you down no matter how much you jump and dodge

Please, this is nothing at all like metal slug. It's a side scrolling shooter and that's it; metal slug doesn't have cursor aiming, a very different system for powerups, and much different enemies.

Good enough to get the card and have fun doing it. Don't really want to play through the whole thing to give it an unbiased rating. I think that's a fair assessment of the game, though - 3/5 or so, good enough to play a bit.
The sound was really loud for me, not sure why.
