Ninja guys are a *tad* bit overpowered, imho.
@dude6237
The 'custom' soldier you are speaking of is your hero. He *is* the ideal fighter for *any* city.

EVERYONE: If you want to deal over 500 damage/each blow 100% accuracy, do the following:
Be the Male Hero from Order of the Cross, and get his 'Sheild Bash' technique. It costs virtually no SP, and has a 100% accuracy rate w/ a high damage number.

i find that the best way to start is to just finde the best weapons and amour in your starting tribe i like the ninja people, wen you finde the armour and wepon(s) get the skill level for it and if you kill your starting town leader hel drop the best ranged and meele weapon use those to get the cash then go take over all the small towns then go live somwere els

After a while I got tired of going back home to restock troops every other battle, so I figured I'd go conquer the world on my own instead. I succeeded.

@rampaginger: The leaders are in the main city (capital, if you like) of each nation, for far east that is Nagoya, but it is definitely hardest, but you can still buy the best weapons and units there.

If you are going to update this, make it so that you can have a favourite items section so you dont need to have to scroll through a massive list of weapons and armour to get the items you want. + if you agree

So there I was, on my horse, with my Stunning Greek Fire +10 in the primary slot and my Footman's Khan's Heavy Sabre +10. Then I equipped my Wolverine Soul Fire +10 in the secondary and put my other Soul Fire of the Weakling +10 in primary. Not only am I still able to ride my horse while duel wielding, I'm somehow doing some crossbow moves with my Soul Fires

I've been testing the various skills using custom designed heroes. working on dual-wielding, the Salto skill is entirely broken. Not only does it not boost your chance not to be hit, instead it appears to severely reduce YOUR chance to hit. Specifically, I can't even hit a level 1 enemy with it, even though I'm level 30.
The other two dual wield skills appear to work fine, but it makes it a bit difficult to play a dual wielder in a crowd.

tips: Focus on ONE weapon type for your hero; change the switch weapon key to be something you will not trigger accidentally. Focus on the primary stat for the weapon you use primary, then on con, then on spirit (pretty much as a 3:2:1 ratio). Don't bother putting points into other weps, However, if you are a strength-based warrior, you will probably need to put some points eventually into dex for the dodge ability. Even at 100 dodge though, you're still gonna get hit a lot by high end warriors and town heroes, so don't bother overmuch if dex is not your primary stat. -- - Skillwise, early on focus on the things that will improve your army instead of yourself (usually passive skills). then start focusing on your primary attack skills, then on your auras. your auras will enable you to take down the capitals much more easily later. You might even NEED your level 3 aura to take the final wave of defenders in some of the tougher towns.

for the person who asked: Speed: Higher is faster. Dodge rate at a guess is balanced against hit rate. If both opponent's hit and your dodge rate are 100, you probably have a 50% dodge chance. That appears to be about the way it works out when fighting town heroes.

could use some more variety in the horses you can buy. I would think certain kingdoms would be better at horses than others. Arabians in the desert should be the fastest, but with very light defense and HP add. Dark Horde should have the best balance of horse, while maybe the "romans" should have the most hp and armor, but slowest.

For the people talking about how much it costs to upgrade weapons:
Buy the desired weapon.
Save.
Try and upgrade it to max.
If it fails, load your save, rinse, and repeat.
Nice, simple, and doesn't break the bank.

Nice game but lack of info lets it down. Most pay for play give you the info you need as basic, this game beeds a 1 or 2 page guide on what the stats mean (i see that in game) but is it just damage that is king. It also seems a grind to play in normal to take an all star town but its just about how many HP/dmg your troops have vs your level.

As i'm playing this i have a few questions. Speed, is lower higher or is higher lower? How does dodge rate work? how does defense work? what am I weighing up and how is it calculated. Don't need the algorithms just a basic rundown. A basic understanding of rules helps you to understand the game deeper. But guide is just play and play until you get the understanding. Flash games have a low tolerance for years of input and play. Standardize your rates is it SPS shots per second or seconds per shot. special moves are easily understood but stats are less so. would be nice if i know beforehand what something will do even if its in DPS. I am playing through this game atm but wont play forever and a day just to learn the intricacies.

I just hit 3032 =D. here's how: Lvl 50 assassin girl wielding "Assassin's Might of Thanatos" (a Assassin's Might katar from Tiflis refined to level 10 and then enchanted with an Occult rune. It costed me over 1.5 million to get one of the katar to level 10.) This weapon inflicts more damage the more armour your target is wearing. So I fought the town champion of Grobben in The Order of Holy Cross (A region know for its superb armor) and used level 5 Meteor Strike attack. I dont use an army and ive taken over the entire kingdom. (on normal mode)
