Ugh. It is so hard to get a lvl 10 refined sword. My best is a lvl 8. Is there any trick to this??? Is it better to work up a couple lvls, then go for ten, just work up every lvl, or just try for lvl 10 first? Money is not a problem, I can buy as many swords as I want.

to take over a city, save game, attempt to capture city, die, load game again. please note that you will not get any rewards from doing this( ie no money, xp, or weapons)

To defeat the far east capital, take off all your armor. Their special attacks does damage proportional to your defense.

Two things I have to say about this game, besides it being great. It will sometimes give you random cities (yay!), and you should be able to use the forge on your armor. Runes should also be able to be put on armor, but with a defensive effect like the aggressive effect.

if you are having trouble with the ninjas that kill in one hit, take off all your armor. IT sounds crazy but the fatal hit won't work. PLEASE KEEP IT ON THE FIRST PAGE

probably for the badge that you kill every CAPITAL CITY guy is you have to play it on normal setting or you have to fight against the guy one-on-one at normal difficulty

So in D&D these days, there's this Take 10 and Take 20 stuff. I want a Take 50 on the forge, to save my poor fingers. I'm rich, I've got stats, I want a maxed out sword just for the hallibut. The Take 50 forging (or 100, I don't care) would charge 50x weapon value + 50x 2k (basic max-forge cost). So my 10k sword gets a +10 for 600k (or 1.2m if you want to overprice it to encourage gambling behaviour).
...Yeah, I'm being lazy and asking someone to do work to make up for that... but hey. Thought I'd ask.

Ok here's a guide tested by me in this game and feudalism 2
First, start off as an far east person
up your DEx until you can wield some pretty good armor and weaponds, by doing quests.
Now, conquer all of the far east empire, just to get started
Once you conquer nagoya, you should be able to wield the 2 best ninja tos and the best armor.
(I recommend using ninja tos and spamming the last dual weapons attack)
For the OHKO guy, just take off all your armor and buy a ton of 300 health potions.
Once you have conquered Nagoya, build up your army to max size and head to any capital.
Conquer it, kill the champion after buying like 4000 potions to last you the whole game.
Now rebuild your army and head to the next capital rinse and repeat

If you keep being killed by Guillotine Blade (That oh so annoying Far East OHKO attack) Be a far east yourself. I can kill any champion that uses it be timing it right.

It's a really great game, but the beginning is way too tough, and once you're able to take over the first capital, every other city falls with ease. And it does get a little repetitive. I still have to say, 5/5.

the far East was hard as hell still cant pass it i didnt know you stopped lvling after a while so i couldnt get the last armor which is pretty gay cause i needed it
