After I successfully claimed my first capital, the experience netted from that enabled me to get by without using my army ever again. Just load up on healing pots, back to the wall, (or other obstacle), spam it.
Spear seems to work the best. And if you find an occult rune? Holy schnikies! 3k damage per hit for me on Normal.
Also, once you're strong enough to kill rogues on your own, island nation quests = easily abusable source of money. I had such trouble starting and taking over cities. Then I figured out rogues spawn within the territory you're in, not the country. So I abused Llanelli like crazy. 30 minutes later, nigh-invulnerable and able to take one capital city...and after that battle...

These are quite a lot of typos and misspellings in the game. example "Golden Shadpw". I like this game a lot, but there are a lot of bad spellings.

guys, i dont know what you all are complaining about, i litterally have 3 MILLION of whatever the currency is just sitting there, and my army is equiped with golden soldiers and do like 500 damage each hit; and basically i DOMINATE. so whats the prob?

very nice game! ah, i found another very nice game! it`s kind of a real life simulation. you can work and fight in wars there, get involved in politics or build up your own company for example! just use my link if you want to join: http://www.erepublik.com/en/referrer/tmv23 to get you a good start: the first things you need to do there are: get a job in a company and work there, upload an avatar and after you did that train to raise your strength. Then buy some food and login again at the next day. At the begin you have not much possibilities to be honest BUT: Every level you gain you have more possibilities! by the way, the power of the countries depends on their citizens, so join and support your country! For example at the moment there is a huge war between Hungary/Russia/Indonesia/Serbia/France/UK and some other allies against USA/Croatia/Canada/Poland/Sweden

rouges are montains with a red flag that apear on your world map when you receive a mission, you simply have to go there.

And where the heck would the rouges be? People always ask me to "Take care of some rouges", but they never tell me where in the starburst they are.

MAX lev 50 over 50million gold and fully upgraded wepons of thantos. and i can beat all capitals and heros with out an army

Hey i find tactic:
You must buy about 1000 medium heal potions and in battle active Banshree Cry and healing with potions.
You need about 2000000 to 5000000 Golds but it is so easy. :)

I'm beating the leaders in the capitals and the hard achievement goal checklists are not all registering. It's no big deal though. Fun game 5/5.

I was hoping for better balancing than the first, though with the advent of skill trees and a few more heroes and units and rune weapons is nice, It is still horribly unbalanced and the random battles now are just absurd, I cant take 3 steps without hitting one and the enemy units have nearly 500 HP wereas my BEST avaiable units have only 30. Needs some major fixing and balancing and will be anawesome game, for now 3/5-make patches to fix problems.

insanely hard?
the game itself is easy but the end isn't playable.
I would say "REAL CRAPPY" end!!!
And as if the game is not playable to the end, I will not touch it anymore.
