unbeleiveably harder than the first one. on the brighter side tho you make a ton more money per fight. kinda ridulous the forging mechanics. 4/5 for some small but overlookable problems

P.S.: If you can, create a custom hero. the default heroes are balanced, but don't have enough diversity to offer complete freedom. With a custom hero you can put everything into 3 or 4 stats/abilities and become UBER. 4/5
@poopydude123: Conquer everything (seriously, it's not that hard, even on normal, it just takes time) and then go to each capital and go to the town hall/center/whatever menu. Then in the center selection, top row, there should be something that allows you to fight the town's champion. Then select "1 v 1." If you beat him/her, you can move on to the other civs. Beat them all and you get the badge. Also: the best champions give you unique/artifact items upon death ;)

Nice game. Graphics are well done, can support many individual animations, AIs are smart enough to be immune to 'farms' but just stupid enough not to blitz the hero. There are some abilities that are imbalanced, usually favoring the hero. I went through 4 times, trying different civs. The last time I decided to create a custom hero (DL from the site, it runs much faster) and go army-less. It was hard for the first 10 min. or so, but in the end I could defeat every champion and their army single-handedly. Once you've conquered most of the other civs, though, the game's pace slows and needs a booster like the Barbarians from the Civilization games.

'aperently a genral came came into the cave and came back out 2 minuets later draging a cartfull of our mesn ormor" "CURES U GENERAL.....I WILL GET ONE DAY!!!!!!!!"

Congratulations! You just won the "There Can Be Only One" Badge and 30 points! - God damn. There went my afternoon.
Easy game. Time consuming though.

2 badges down...time to grind the hard.
1 criticism for the next one perhaps. Brief battle reports. Units lost etc, units killed.
Also the item layout is awful. Selling your clutter is a nightmare.

I have realized when refining refine level 1 level 2 etc. Do NOT do 10 at first>. This comment goesd to all who want superiority.

Does an infantry rune affect just my damage (increases damage on horsemen by 30%) or does it only increase horsemen allies?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)

Ravage this game is so easy you shouldnt have to weary about refunds or 1 hit ko's so shut the hell up you whiney lil bitch
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Ravage, in case you didn't notice the odds of successfully refining a weapon are right in plain sight. You would have to be blind or stupid to miss them. If you don't want to lose your weapon you don't refine. It isn't that difficult to figure out.
I can't say I really care for this game though. The first one was alright, though rather disappointing in the end, but this one is pretty bad in comparison. Plenty of great stuff in it, but the fights are a little overly difficult.

For those of you bitching about refining, mainly you, Ravage, stop it. You apparently know nothing of forging weapons. You have to make it flexible enough not to break, but firm enough to withstand hitting a body or another sword. Therefore, it gets more brittle each time you forge it. If you weren't ignorant children, you'd look crap up, instead of bitching about it. Sorry, but that's the truth. Have a nice day. ^^

Ravage, the blacksmith isn't perfect. Also refining was probably put in for rich people. Also: you odn't need to refine to win.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
calm down Ravage002, the rifining odds r wierd but still gr8 game, i dont really care bout the limited army size on normal difficulty cos i conquered nations with just the hero player.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
oh yeah, giving computers 1 hit ko moves? real freaking cool. also provide a mute button despite its lack of sound in the first place.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
whoever made the whole refining ordeal was either an idiot or an asshole. why would you have such a drastic decrease in success per level refinement? and for that matter, why the hell fail in the first place? i know you can just pick up another goddamn weapon off of the 1 billion rouges that live in the land, but what the hell would let the weapon be destroyed if you needed it to be upgraded??
pretty much this is how the process works: "Oh hey blacksmith can you make my weapon better?"
"Sure thing!" *breaks weapon* "OOPS! my bad, don't worry about it though, you can't find another weapon to bring me and pay for my shoddy services!"
"Can I have a refund since you broke my goddamn weapon?"
"No."
