Actually to beat Nagoya just use a guy with no armor and high evasion like ranged heroes, and for the units, use the taekwons you get from the far east starter city, use lots of them.

i forgot ... shogun blacks the best, the easy way to get shogun republics, its first get, the south desert, and use the guys with crossbow ( 102% critical hit =P ) shoguns & crosbows + some medics and you are done :D

The best characters to start with are the holy cross, far east, and trade republic characters, but it's still easy on all others.

in the beggining fist chose the holy cross then do the quests and if you keap that up you'll be rich in no time to buy a big armie

go to the order of the holy the city torburg and buy the dead cross bow urefine it and lean how to use it and you'll be strong

jacklinks25, forging makes your weapon better, at a chance of completely losing it. if you save before every lvl of forging, then you can get a really expensive one to lvl 10 with ease.

dude i beat the game. i had a army for 5 towns but then they died off and i noticed i did not need a army i killed all but five of the towns by myself. i was the desert people and i had the golden kakar that i bought
