u can attack anytown but u must be prepared to attack most likly u will face a stronger village 2 times to capture it sometimes 3 for rlly strong villages

I'm pretty certain that it says "duels" in the badge description, and that when challenging a champion the 1on1 option is named "duel", so I've drawn the most logic conclusion from that.
I actually never tried to hide behind my army like a chicken while doing that badge.

Great game. But you should REALLY fix greek fire, it is by far the strongest weapon in the game, and my throwing-specced char is easily able to obliterate a whole army in a few throws because greek fire does so much aoe damage...
@Lewisn11: You have to beat them 1on1, in duels, and not in an army fight (and make sure that they are the CAPITAL city champs, not just any town). To do that, you better travel around the world and get the best armor, as well as some +6 (or +10) weapons with either an "ignore armor" rune or the rare thanatos rune, since the town champs are immune to aura skills and have huge amounts of damage and armor, you'll need that.

I can't seem to get the hard badge, I've gone to the capitol of a town and fought the town champion, yet, the box does not become ticked after i kill him. The chat light is green too. Any ideas on why this is happening?

I think you should add something that instantly buys all the soldiers you want.
for example: I want a combination of that soldier,that horsman and that archer.
I pay all my gold and I have a great army and save a lot of time,you should really add that

Ive been killing everything with 1 nation left to conquer im trying to kill the japanese leader for the achievement he does some fire and japanese writing spell and hits a 6089 and kills me instantly every time

i conquered everywhere... then went back to all the major cities and challenged the champions... and yet i still dont have the badge... help?

Mmm, in the first one units raped all. This I just use units to raid the first town then never again. I went to each capital city with just my hero and few health pots, captured it, then challenged the heroes with an army... it gave they an advantage which did save them, just give you more xp. Well all badges done and 5.5million gold...

Just keep asking for a quest for killing rouges...You can get so much money and many items so this is s good buisness...Then go to Nagoya and buy melee weapon...Then go to Grobben and buy armor...Then go to the Forest Lands and search for Blade bow...Upgrade your weapons with runes and then try capturing towns...THIS STRATEGY ROCKS ! :P
