Just got hard badge - took me a while to realize I needed to take all armor off to slay east empire's leader. Only thing wrong is the absolutely horrible inventory system. There needs to be some way to choose what Items to take in battle, and to make the inventory something other than a bar that only shows 6 items out of hundreds at a time.

woo beat game on easy i didnt see the hard achievement until i was far and im not starting over to get it lol good game 5/5

awsome game one of my favorites. im ubsessed with 2h weapons because of the third thing whitch hits like 3k on things around you. i've beaten this several times all as he great trade republic. this is way better than the first

WHAT THE F IS WITH MATSUYAMA WHenever I beat them they just randomly send me to some sort of arena me vs 20 black shoguns whats up with that?

hard at beginning... until you capture ONE city the game becomes too easy... you can quest ( the highest money i got was 157000 from rogues) i soloed that and bout the biggest army ever.. my point is once your hero becomes a high enough level to capture a city by his/herself means youwill beat the game

to kill the eastern empire capital fast and easy:
get the best troops possible (shoguns work perfectly if u can get them). dont worry about ranged units too much since they can barely hit the ghost shoguns u fight in the 2nd battle. wear no armor! yeah thats right, no armor cause thats how the guillotine special works. but keep lots of health potions and the best weapon against them would be a two handed ax/mace (cause of the third special) or the greek fire
