Beat it with diana, who imo is too strong for two reasons. 1) soloed capital of south desert by lvl 10 2) Consistantly did 1-2k with fully upgraded katar w/ occult rune in it using meteor strike. Besides that good game.

great game better than the first in almost every way. but there's one thing the second one took out that i really hate. the thing is when you enter an enemy's town and they challenge you, you can just click on the town hall or shop and you're good but it took it out and i'm now in a thing were i have to fight a town that is 3x better than me. if you make a 3rd one plz but that in there or at least a remake. please

the unit cap is there so you can't just expect to buy a capital by getting some 1500 weak units instead get 30 strong units

this game is easy and fun:) 5/5 need badges and to all of you who think that it is to hard you are doing it wrong first get a weapon thats decent in the store and then upgrade it a few times (3-4) then go and kill more bandits, and recruit troops to take another slightly better town of the same country then when you conquer a capital move on to the next country

after several hours of playing, i have to say its a great game. army wasn't great to begin with, but with the passive skills and improved units as u capture cities, they start to shine. its good that they arent invincible either - what would you do with your millions of dollars otherwise aside from forge =p people complaining about the enemy being tougher than your minions... well of course they do. they dont have a hero unit which can single handedly wipe a whole army do they...

this game is so much more hero based now than fuedalism 1 other than that its the same
i was hoping for new civilizations and locations

If you can't seem to take over a town, go for other easier ones. You might find stronger units to recruit there, just go for easier towns if you're stucked. And personally, i prefer being a bowman. Just arrow shower the heck outta them lol

I didn't expect the enemy being 10 times better than u and army limit. It just makes the game look stupid. If those things were removed, i could see this being a lot of people's favorite game; would definatly be mine. JUST FIX IT PLS!!!

bah if people actually tried to level up a bit before trying to take over the world with peasants, maybe they wouldnt die and complain so much!

a little hard at the start but after several level ups you can take on a big group of rogues and get payed 100000gps by yourself

And, finally, the balance issues. Like I said in the second sentence, even the weakest, worst-equipped bandit can kill two or three of your soldiers with ease, not to mention your hero himself. The one time I mananged to get farther out than the nearest city, I died, because hordes and hordes of bandits anally raped my soldiers. And forget taking another city, because you can't. You find that even the weakest of villages have massive, well trained, well equipped militias that will rip your troops apart and drink their still-warm blood. This might have been immaterial if you could through endless waves of men at your foe, but with the unit cap, they often seem to have more. I can't talk about prices because I never saw more than two cities.
I'm sorry if this review is offensive, but Feudalism 1 was (and still is) one of my favorite games, and seeing this shlock maquerading as a sequel breaks my heart. Fix it, remake it, or take it off. Until then, it gets a 1/5.

Unplayable. You get attacked constantly, and often the "bandits" seem more like professional militaries, judging by the way they mow through your troops - and you. Speaking of you, the main character sucks hairy fat man balls. Even the worst units in the game are far superior to your hero, and the skills don't go far enough to come even close to making up for the hero's *****y stats. The interface is unintuitive, with menus hidden in the bottom, buildings looking like eachother, and skills difficult to upgrade. I don't mind the addition of magic and such, but it's implemented so terribly that it subtracts even further from the experience.

Army too large at ~20/25? I loved building up a huge army in the first version with soldiers from all my conquered cities.
It also seems like you start with too much cash.
Third, the text pop-ups explaining each item are too large, they block what's on the screen a little too much for me.

It's really really hard. the only way i ever managed to take my first town in feudalism was to just fill my army with as many troops as i could before i got bored, now with and army limit I still, after... idk the exact amount of time, but it was roughly equal to all three streetlight manifesto albums, i still have yet to take a village. attacks are too slow, switch weapons is too slow, and its not cool when my character just stops moving for no apparent reason.

I didn't like it... at all. The first one was MUCH better. For instance, I didn't like the whole army too big thing it ruined a lot of the game. I gave the game a 3/5 and that was being generous.

if youre dying too quickly, maybe put a few points into constitution. i bumped it up to lowly 30, got a cheap horse and i can tank an entire bandit army solo (useful when all your buddies die). get the 2nd healing aura and i dont even need to use potions.
