I once played this game, and I came across a very unique, I guess, bug. I had killed a rogue camp and all the way back home from the rogue camp, every half-second the items I won from the rogue camp like multiplied, so I came home with like ~30k militia axes. I went WTF and just sold them all, that's hella lot o' money xD I just couldn't duplicate that bug yet so I don't know what caused this, tho back then it was hella fun.

For an easy win (no weapon or armor needed), start off as Edgar (first guy). Start doing quests that give you the most gold and involve going to the 5 closest cities to your starting city (Trapezus). Spend all the money you earn on more units until you have a decent sized army. Then do quest involving rogues to level up. First stat in get up is Intel to 50. Then as you level max out Art of War and Patriotism followed by Intel. Once you have a large army conquer Arretium. Continue to do quest and spend the gold on Town Guards, Line Infantry and Crossbowman. Once you have a large army of them, conquer Alexandria. Which should be no problem if you army is large enough. Then buy 5 Golden Riders (front) and 5 Elite Snipers (back) which are the last units you will need to conquer every other city without losing a unit.

Iv realized it might be an unbeatable strategy if once you get over 100000 gp or really any large amount getting tons of archers and I mean like 50 you could make a nearly endless wall of arrows but to make it so no enemy can get any further you would need a simaliar amount of crossbowmen the idea for the strategy is since if you have over 7 archers they keep firing after the first 7 arrows until every archer has fired and the same for the crossbowmen so if you use both attacks at once you would have a nearly endless attack the downside is you cant have normal fighters because they would run into the arrows and kill themselves and because you cant have fighters if an enemy makes it through the arrows you have to fight them on your own

So I start the game as a ninja, take my first quest, leave the city and am immediately attacked by about 9 guys. Given I have NO armor, two crappy katanas and some soldiers were surely recruited into the army about two hours ago, I naturally get owned and have to restart. This goes on for about ten or eleven different characters, and then I give up and play as an Axe-Wielding psychopath, which worked out pretty well. Oh well, at least he's not a pirate.

Bug: when you go into a hostile town, you can click any building to cancel the invitation to battle. Good for setting things up before the battle.

My ranged troops had 2500 hp each... I had 91k hp....except for one fight, I lost no units in the conquering of the last 20 cities....
I think the game should be made more difficult.

I have 11k hp and very good dodge... this is tedious I still have 15 more cities to capture : /

After you beat everyone, there should be a scroll function where you can now fight a new faction, the "VAMPIRES!!!" and they should continually suck HP and do incredible damage and stuff.

AHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!! I destroyed like 20 cities with Taekwon's from the far east. (Those are the cheapest possible units.) I spammed them for like 20 minutes until there was absolutely at least 200 in there.

How to easily and quickly beat the game. Get around 100000, Idc how, then spam your best unit until you run out of money. Go to Alexandria, take it, then use the 60k you get in drops to spam either Golden Riders or Assassins.

There should be a $100,000 Horse named Shadowfax. 1000hp 25def 25speed. Make him cost more, idc, it's an awesome idea, I want more horses!!!!

i beat the hole game in less then one day soo easy! ended with 7.1k hp and around 500k in coin and i was lvl 44.! ^.^

Love this game. I reccomend building up a big enough army to capture Echigo and then simply using the samura there, They are practically un-killable.

the best place to get troops from is the Echigo city they have black samurai that deal massive damage ive only had to replace one

if you are going to a hostile town and you don't want to fight then go in and hit a building and you get in with out fighting

some indication on the saved file slots as to what is saved there would be helpful, such as how many cities captured, and hero level, to at least let us know how important the file is

The best way to win, i can't remember what city it was, but put 2 forest keepers and 3 berserkers in the 1st line in the 2nd line put 2 great heroes and 3 elite guards, for reserve troops put one elite guard 5 great heroes 2 black samurai 1 shadow and ghost bowman 2 elite, snipers and two elite axe-throwers, 2 elders 1 marine recon, 2 crusaders, and inquisitors, and then 2 fire throwers. And forever may you reign.

Just one Problem, Why do u have to drag da army one by one. why dont place 10 or 20 army at once. rather then dragging one by one! Any way, great game :)

4. max out int, art of war, patriotism.

6. Profit.
PS end game your crusaders get 2.6k hp. 10 units of crusaders+ rage+ 2/3 hp scrolls= no deaths and roflstomping map.

TO WIN THE GAME EASILY: Get the second character (princess with the crossbow) go conquering the small towns till u can get the bigger ones...once u have the bigger ones go for Alexandria...once there get Golden Riders in front line and Silent Killers for second line...level up intelligence for level up Art of War and Patriotism...ONCE YOU HAVE GOLDEN RIDERS AND SILENT KILLERS WITH 100 OF ART OF WAR AND PATRIOTISM UR UNBEATEBLE!!!!! + to people know
