Overall, this is a fun game, but because of imbalances like those golden horses it becomes way too easy after the first few villages. 4/5.

Joyofelf is right. Second time playing, I chose Forest faction. Getting the first five villages was only a minor challenge, and once I had ten of those golden horses from Grouzeno, I basically sat back and watched. Conquered the next 27 towns without losing a single unit or casting a single healing spell.

for 500 dmg badge, the weapon isn't the most important thing, though i think the highest base dmg weapon is the 2 handed axe you get at the forest faction capital (max 200 dmg i believe). The way to get 500 damage is to fight a bunch of battles and accumulate several magic items that add to damage (ie unholy, crushing, suffering, etc.). Without the magic items to augment your damage, i don't think it's possible to get 500 dmg. feel free to correct me if i'm wrong, though. its possiple to hit over 500 but u need have best axe and str over 270

when you capture Grouzeno, the little village on the island in the northeast, you get access to a really awesome horse for 20,000 gold and hero warrior units that, once you get 5 for 1,500 apiece, will beat the game for you without your hero doing anything :). The fact that the forest faction can boost them with patriotism leads me to think that the forest guys are the best characters to be.

this game is makin me mad! i love this game, but i cant get the frigen 'strength of a warrior' badge. i have a x-bow that gives me 0-1000 damage, i hit somone for like 800, and i didnt get it O_o'

it was too easy. dark samurai army pwns the entire map. they only killed 3 of my guys while conquering the entire thing.

the strength of a warrior badge just needs your max damae possible to be 500+. you dont really need to do 500 damage to someone

key is Echigo, the north village of East Kingdom : you can hire men for 5000 and with 50 INT and max in art of war and patriotism (if you choose this kingdom and you should) they are absolutly invincible^^

Random glitch. I lvl'd up once and ended up with 275 free points, or is that supposed to happen? I'm def not complaining, just curious.
