I use shining shuriken, damage 40-1150, hit rate 180%, critical rate 144%.

warloard, i still don't understand why you do it that way, what i do is just do it by units, you can basically kill everyone with rain of arrows and arrow wall by the start, and when those become uneffective you should already have good enough soldiers to fight other soldiers, the only place this wouldn't work would be echigo, and once you get echigo, you're pretty much set

this game made easy: start with ninja or forest girl (most starting int) and just upgrade patriotism, intelligence, and art of war to max. Buy a lot of units at first (30-50) before you take your first town (dont need to be max level). snowballs after you capture your capital, avalanches when you get access to black samurai/forest heroes

i know a cheat start a new game click on the person you want to be but dont do nothing else then right click click on forword click continiue and you will have NaN gp and you will be lvl 50 it realy works

warloard, I couldn't understand a word you said but that was NOT the only way to do it, seriously echigo is good, get a bunch of ninjas from there, have plenty of archers and crossbowmen from somewhere else, pretty much set no matter what your weapon.

another hint, the best way to capture echigo is using either oil or greek fire, and if you don't have oil throwers in your army, you'll probably have to do it yourself.

This game is addicting beat it with hero level 56, 900,345 gold, heres a hint: Try to capture the town of Echigo. They have the best fighters in the game, the black ninja.

Instead of using your hero to get the medium badge just be far east empire and max out Nationalism with a line of black samuri.

The one of the biggest drawbacks is the save system - we need to be able to name our saves - or the game needs to display some kind of identifier with the save (like the Hero's level).
