this game sux i mean i cant capture any town i have about 60 men 20 elite archers 10 horseback riders with swords 20 town guards and 10 of the spearmen ppl and me and i can even capture grouzeno

since im nice ill tell you a cheat select youer character then right click and hit play and you have unlimited money hope this cheat helps you :D

Quite entertaining. Although it mlacks much replay value (as the case tends to be with most flash games), it is put together very well. I applaud you :D

Just so everyone knows theres already a seqeul to this game.... might be best to try that one before suggesting improvements

Since everyone doesn't want to be really clear about anything the best way to get the strength of a hero achievement is to find a weapon drop that has the augment death on it (preferably a weapon) it will add 0-1000 damage to you and give you the achievement when you equip it if not then go fight an easy fight then you will have it

Great GREAT game................. BUT this game could be absolutely incredible, yeh this is true of allot of games here but with this one it could be so easily done!!! 1st fix spelling and grammar
2nd introduce some sense of control over your minions, having them run about aimlessly on illogical pathing can get quite annoying, also health bars next to each character would make use of healing less of a guessing game.
3rd it gets repetitive once you've earned the best units for your race, perhaps other armies ally against you or try to take over your cities?
4th make the overworld map more interesting, represent the presence of rogues on the map and give other nations their own roving heroes, having them just sit there is kind of boring...
theres more but i'm sure its already been mentioned by others.
anyway... very fun as it stands, ty

Ridiculously easy with forest people and great heroes. However, I never managed to get the 500+ hit for the medium badge? With an axe, maximized strength and all?

Crusaders ftw! I used the spear lady, conquered all of the Order, then used 10 crusaders to systematically conquer every other nation/city without any crusader dying. (I did level up patriotism and art of war to 100 along the way though)

easy way to get High Warlord Badge
1 choose the ninja guy
2 keep training and doing quest till you can equip the katana from izumo
3 buy the best armor and weapon you can you can buy
4 conquer kozuke, matsuyama, izumo, nagoya, and last echigo
5 buy as much black samurais as you can to invade the rest of the cities
easy way to get the Strength of a Warrior Badge
wear any armor or weapon that has the enchantment mysterious

Who cares weather the great hero or the black samurai is better, I finished the game before running out of crusaders. The difficulty curve is a bit low, and I don't say that often.

Too many random encounters. They are really pissing me off, once you take control of about 20 cities, you just face too much. Please lower the encounter rate.

never...geting..flamethrrowers...ever...again, they killed me :P, great heros are better because they have more HP and armour

Actually the great hero IS better ONLY when conquering the south, those damn demolishers and flame throwers have a 100% hit regardless of dodge rate because they do splash. Extremely potent and deadly against low hp units like the Japanese units. Otherwise, generally the black samurai unit is much better

FYI, the black samurai unit in echigo is better than the great hero unit in grouzeno, it has a much better damage rating (average damage x attack speed x hit rate) and you can tell since it`s also more expensive, and I`ve only lost 3 max on capital takeovers, usually none.
There are a couple glitches, the dead person not dying just running on the spot glitch, and the die and adobe flash player messes up glitch.
Pretty good overall 4/5 but the second one is better

easy to win, just get alot of money then capture Grouzeno, they have the #1 soldier, get their best mounted dude, I used them and controlled the world without loosing anyone
