if your lucky enough to get crushing leather armor and immortal all you need is a hell load of potions and you wont need to buy an army, just stand in a corner and attack :D vote up to keep this comment going

Quest Giver: Before we give you this quest, we want to ask a few questions. Would that be okay?
You: Yes.
Quest Giver: Okay, where do you see yourself in five years?
You: Sitting in that throne over there with a golden crown and a merciless army slaughtering all who oppose me.
Quest Giver: This just got awkward...

5 crusaders (1700 gold each), 5 semi-decent archers, lost none of em when i captures the last 25 cities, i mean, I didnt lose a single unit, man the "heal 1/3" and "rage potion" should be nerfed :o gg

if you want to go shopping in a place that's considered hostile to you, but you can't beat them, just don't click "okay let's fight", click a store instead.
(discovered by accidentally clicking on the boat place)

After I bought Grean Heroes, this was kind of boring. With those the hard badge is easy. But they are so good that you can't do anything but watch your enemies get slaughtered X D

Adding on, black samurais are amazing. I was level 27, had all black samurais and 10 reserves, 5 of the 32 cities, conquered the rest and won the game without restocking on troops again.

If you encounter so many wild battles that you lose almost all of your men as you're traveling between hostile cities (making it impossible to stop and stock up on soldiers along the way), just visit a hostile town and click on any building when they tell you they want to fight. Then, you can be in the town without a problem, save your game, and plan a strategy for how to get out of there!

I hate when something like this happens: Yessss, finally beat both battles of Alexandria, now time to enlist some troops, i'm totally out... *clicks on Alexandria* Preparing for Battle... SHIT

easy way to beat any small towns. everytime you level up spend all your points on str. until its 70. then buy greek fire. you should be able to take on any small city no problem within 5 minutes of starting the game maybe even quicker than that

You can just grind in the beginning and easily win. I kept doing defeat the rogues missions until I was level 30. From that point on, I never died, never had to sell anything, and never had to do another quest. By the time I conquered my fourth city I had maxed out Dexterity, Strength, and Art of War. I also had a gigantic army full of Shogun Guardians and Shuriken Masters. So gigantic, in fact, I was able to conquer most of the other cities (including Alexandria) before having to buy more soldiers. I still had 40,000+, so I blew it all on new soldiers, and easily beat all the remaining cities on my first try.

Somewhat frustrating. Playing for an hour or so. Have a cities under my belt. Win a few, lose a few, always coming back from the save points. Die in an assault, go grab a sandwich. Come back. "Sorry, but there's no data in this slot!" Where'd it go?

I founded a glitch... i was stuck on my old game, i had attacked a town i couldnt take and forgot to save before hand, so my auto save kept bringing me to its gates.. and... well.. they didnt like me, anyhow, i made a new game... and i started as a different hero and different nation, but as soon as i start up, the town herald starts yelling at me, and when i look, i noticed that im in control of all the towns i was in control of before.. i hadnt even gotten any good gear yet and already i run all of the trade republic! :D

Adding to my old comment, it think its bullshit how powerful ranged enemies are.. i was fully equiped and level 50... i go to attack Lutetia, and i get two shotted by Crossbowmen...

Needs an option to turn off sound, i like to listen to my own music while i play games, but its a great game, it truly is, i never get tired of it, i always go trade republic and go 2 handed swords, then i get the best swords they offer and the armor, then i go to order, and get the best armor ever, and then im set, nothing to it really, but i think that they should make a third one, with some serious difficulty, these ones are too easy, im not complaining, id rather then be to easy then drop dead difficult, but the enemy should be considered depending on your heroes level, and how many towns youve taken... instead of what town your attacking is, cause its not like an empire is going to send the weakest of its troops to defend a town, especially when the entire nation is composed of only about 6 towns each!
