I thought the game was pretty empty. Control of the hero was horrible. You can't even use a archer character effectively. I think the game had some good spots in it. Overall though I only gave it a 2. I tried to like it - but in the end I just felt like my hero didn't matter. I just started getting patriotism and hoping my other units would do something. I might try again with a melee character but the controls will probably be the same - clunky and outdated.

Fun little game. Gets a little pointless after you take Echigo and buy a bunch of black samurai, which do like 160-280 damage and have 83% dodge rate. For the 500 dmg badge, just find anything with the "of death" suffix, which will add 0-1000 damage to your attacks, and kill something.

Never mind... >_< the bloody thing apprently lit up but its color is so similar to the standard grey I didn't notice until I saw the "You completed this on..." bit

You can actually solo really well if you get a ranged char, bow or better yet shuriken, get at least one crushing thing, then max dex. You end up w/ at least 90% dodge, decent def and plenty of damage, you just mow down anyone who comes :)

its way to easy to make the money then purchase good troops i stuck with the origana archers and stuf...it was alot funner and harder

... get 50k gold and buy a horse, crusader armor and tons of crusaders. Finish and conquer the world. I hope this mini-walkthrough helped you.

Steps: First, do a few small quests, mostly delivery quests. Then, once you get 2k gold buy tons and tons of varied troops. Once done, head to Ra-Gorod and conquer it. Do more quests, mostly good paying rogue huting quests (400-700 gold) until you get 10k gold. Head to Ra-Gorod and buy lots of beserkers and better armor.
Head to Alexandria and conquer it. Get 20k, buy lots of golden riders and good armor. Bey a boat at Braunburg head to the North-West island and conquer Wanderburg...

Nice game but does have one big flaw.
If you know which towns to sack first you can become unbeatable in around 4-5 towns.

pretty good. desperately needs a sell all button. better yet a sell all but enchanted button. battle screen movement mechanics are somewhat annoying, too many obstacles and what not for ranged characters. i enjoyed it though, looking forward to the next one.

Pretty darn good game.Selling all the items we get can be very tedious though.A shift click to sell all would be better than dragging it over

It would be nice if we could shift + click items to sell them, especially when its late game and you get attacked by level 3 groups... you get tons and tons of stacks of 1 item that sells for a pitiful amount of 30gold. It gets anoying having to click and drag that much shit.

i think i might have an explanation for the no moving glitch! Maybe moving animations for some weapons weren't created by the time of downloading! Maybe that's it!

great game but one suggestion make so your hero is completely awesome because if hes not theres no point in using him. other than that great game 5/5 and favorited.

needs a better military purchase style. Perhaps one where you choose how many units you want first and it tell you how much that costs then you can choose to purchase the units or not.

The 1000 HP horsemen are probably a bit too powerful. Once I had them, I think I lost 1 when I wasn't paying attention. I never had to attack with the "hero", I just constantly barraged with archers and crossbow... pretty easy

0 (in words: zero) balancing.
Some nice ideas, well done technically, but boring gameplay due to lack of balance. "Strategy": Levelling: raise AOW and Patriotism at first only, then raise intelligence to allow more of both, when AOW and Patriotism are at 100 continue to raise Int to 200.
Campaign: do 5 missions against rogues for cash. Buy the expensive troops (5 in reserve), attack 1st city. Sell weak troops and buy the better troops that get available (stick with own race mostly). Put 20 archers and 20 crossbowmen in reserve, hit nme with arty and forget about using your hero.... rinse and repeat. both elite guards and black samurai are good enough to conquor the world w/o a single loss...

juggalo93, I think I may have not worded my mini-rant well. It's a great game, I just am really, really bad at it still. I intended the post to be an obviously tongue-in-cheek complaint, but reading it today, I see that I didn't.

strength of a warrior badge is easy - i only got 2 villages but i got a shield and armour which both give 100-300 extra damage =)

Too easy. Once you've beaten around 10-12 cities, you pretty much have them all. Too many easy cities as well. Need to be harder as you go along
