I accidentally went to the enemy city and it auto-saved the game way too far away by progress from my last manual save and there's no way I'm beating that enemy. Is there any way out? If no then I quit this game...

"I need more experience. Plus these guys had some good drops"

what sort of idiots attack an army of over 100 black samurai led by the greatest warlord in the world who has conquered every major city in existence with only 10 peasants?

all you really need is maxed patriotism and art of war. With that, any unit you buy has ridiculous damage and health, and you can use those guys to conquer the next highest city of your homeland, and then recruit the people there and conquer the next highest place, etc. until you conquer the place with the best troops in your entire homeland and recruit and bunch of them and they will win for you. Remember, the best in your homeland so Patriotism applies!

the easiest way to beat all the cities is to buy a ton of great heroes in caesarea and use the attack scroll during every battle

Guide for medium badge: Make a whole ton of money by doing quests and then buy loads of troops. Put your points into throwing and strength then go down to Alexandria and buy the 'Greek Fire' which deals 200 damage. Beat up some rogues until you get helmets/armour that increase your damage and critical hit, (look for items with blue backgrounds.) Then just lob fire around and you will get 500+ damage... Basically you just need the Greek Fire and items that increase damage. :+)

if you have a dagger for a back-up weapon, why would you put it behind your back? Wouldn't you just put on your belt or something?

What the hell. First thing you have to do? Decide between 8 characters with 17 freaking stats each. That is way way too much. Congratulations, simply the character select screen is going to make me pass.

This game is too flawed in my opinion. Flawed battle mechanics, no cross-browser support, lack of music, the items list show only 4 items at a time, no "Return to Menu" or "Exit" button, no list of active quests, unpractical recruiting system and so on. I know this game is over 3 years old, but releasing a game half-baked isn't good.

That's a first.

I give this game a 4/5. I've encountered several glitches during battles. The game will freeze or mostly freeze (arrow shower and arrow wall still work, but nobody fights). There needs to be a "sell all inventory" for the shop and there needs to be a faster way to buy troops. Hotkeys for battles would be appreciated. The last improvement I can think of (and this is minor) is that the grey text boxes that pop up to explain things in battles are cut off because they float too far to the right. Otherwise, I've really enjoyed the hours I've spent with this game.
