@darin1994 you dont just lose if you lose all your ships. You also lose if you dont have enough action points to attack with.

Great game but... i can't beat the final boss :( how can you beat him? three lines fully updated, i shoot only dinamite board shots (or two quick if i can't send two board) but i can't get it under 10k life points...

@ Galadan: Boarding or shooting them till they cant shoot allows you to get a bigger money bonus depending on how high health the enemy ship is on.

I believe that the what determines if the enemies or I attack first depends on how good ships you have.
For example when I use 3 barks I can attack anything of level 20 and above and get the first hit, which comes in handy since I can kill everything with one hit using the dynamite.
Beware though when you get 3 Line ships (maybe even one, I bought all 3 at once) the only ships that will spawn is level 26 and they will strike first.

Is there any andvantage in trying to keep enemy ships afloat (boarding/shooting them down to less than 15 AP) instead of sinking them?

Caribbean Admiral reminds me a bit of Sid Meier's Pirates!, but this game could've been a bit longer and maybe add a few more towns or something. You could do so in a sequel.

Isn't it convenient that the item required to fight the boss is ALWAYS in the last hostile settlement, no matter which order you go?

lol i got hitt soo hard by other ships.. that when i lost and returned to town i had to fix my ship and was still getting damage...way to go lol

It's quite crappy that towns are still listed as wanting certain goods even after you've sold so much that the price you get is lower than anywhere else. Also, the game would benefit greatly from having someone who's actually fluent in English take a look at the texts of the storyline.

Money is ridiculously easy to earn, WP aren't. Though showering enemy with your spare change (dynamite shots) helps a bit.

fun game, but kind of a disappointing ending, i expected a small scene with the ghost ship going down in flames or something, but got a screen with scores i didn't care much for plus a submit button. could do some work on the storyline part but still a pretty cool arcade game.

This game is awesome! Im restarting it for the third time now...
Would be nice if u could speed up the battlescreen though. Also I cant seem to understand whats the mechanic behind who goes first in a battle? Could u explain that?

great fun, but sadly simplistic... there was no benefit to boarding enemy ships, at least that I could see... it would be better if you could choose to keep them when you board them, and if various ones of the random pirate crews had unique ships, eg, specially powerful versions of the standard types, even stronger than the same type fully upgraded, that you could get. Also, as is already mentioned, what determines who shoots first?

I wish there was a page on the mechanics of the game regarding crew, sails, etc. (if there is, please inbox me a link I can't find it)

not a bad game would have been nice to know the ship board came down i played for a while not knowing that lol but a good game.
