Why do the ships randomly not attack sometimes, even when they have enough AP? I have to retreat battles I'm expecting to win sometimes..

Not fun. This game is senseless, endless farm. Mechanics, trade system, ships upgrading etc. are quite ok, but nothing spectacular. 2/5

Derivative but fun. And it won't allow you to save so instant 1/5 in spite of being awesome. And you'll need around 300K to take down the final enemy - this game is a proper grind fest so be warned.

Getting the last star for ships purchased requires repeatedly downgrading and upgrading a ship, and there's really no other reason to do that - it might save some time to make the number of ships required for the star the same as buying all the way up the upgrade ladder.

wow this game was superb! very well done. haha just traded between the first two cities until i got 3 tier 4 ships. smooth sailing from there...

my game has reset itself after i clicked play it went to beginning instead of loading from where i left it last night

The sail is for decreasing or Increasing your Action Points
The crew is to increase or decrease your chance of a Successful Boarding
The hull is for decreasing and increasing your direct damage

I have been reset as well and the save slots are gone- so is the panal that shows how much gold you have. And I am not sinking ships anymore- just damaging them. Guessing something is wrong here.

how to beat the boss?
1) buy 3 ship of the line, upgrade max (obviously)
2)take a lot of money
3)use aim hull with dynamite

I can make endless money by trading. I figured this out after the first battle. Now the game does not seem challenging any more :S

Just because one of your ships is good, your fleet can go far and not leave the smaller ones behind. It's not realistic but good since I wouldn't have to grind.
