Very nice game. Achievements and especially replays would be very nice. Also, the concept would make brilliant multiplayer.

This game is a very nice challenge. It's exciting and strategic and the music is far and beyond some of the best on any game. It has few bugs. (I have encountered none.) (Flying off the edge of the map is a part of the game. Stay inside the edges and you won't lose any planes.)
(Spoilers) For those of you having trouble with the gameplay: "Take advantage of your planes' tight turning radius. You can turn inside of almost any plane in the game. Also, don't get greedy. Many of the ships you fight can take a lot of damage and can't be taken, even from behind, on in one dive. Take your time and plan your shots carefully."

Despite it's shortcomings on upgrades, mission control, multiplayer, ground targets, etc., this game kicks UMAGs ass and def deserves game of the month before that PoS does.

To beat the blimp, go on runs where you attack it PERFECTLY HEAD ON, then, as soon as you're "on top" of it, do a 180 and GTFO out the front. Keep doing this until it BURNS AND DIES.

hints - 48 you beat flying straight and poisoning the enemy. Both blimps can be killed by A WELL placed plane behind it in with a small movement, then flying away.
The ballons can be killed by coming in weapon range, the 180, walk all away, 180, then againg into weapon range. Nice game, need setups and multiplayer.

1948 how to:
use your speed up, and create smoke an line up your planes. eniemies will fly into cloud and only bombino will be left.
and most important try to not fly out of map or youll lose plane

Awesome game. Hopefully a multiplayer one will come out too... Team 1 kill? More than 2 teams? looks like multiplayer prep

I freaking love this game, and I also agree with petesahooligan, upgrades, a longer more in-depth campaign would be awesome. And terrain. A brief at the beginning of each level (Battalion style) would be cool, and maybe an extra mode that wasn't turn based (just a little bonus thing, nothing changing the main game). This was one of the only flash games that I've spent more than one day playing.
