1948 is extremely easy. Just fly straight ahead with your planes, using speed on the one not armed with gas to get ahead. Have the gassing plane continously lay out gas, whil your planes just fly straight ahead. This will kill all the enemies, except the Bombardino. But that one is easy to outmanouver!

i really think upgrades would come in handy here. sometimes it feels like its impossible to do anything against those gas planes :(

Hm, I did all the missions without taking any damages *before* the kong achievments were added, but the interface only gave me one of them. Oh well, 1948 was fun anyway.

I think the game has another glitch. I did the fourth mission and it keeps resetting. I do have the cache file set so there is no problem with my comp.

Gas planes malfunction often - they do not leave a trail, just a cloud underneath them that kills them off. I don't know if this is a bug or was done to make the game more realistic (gas deployment malfunctioning - not a bad idea), but it's annoying as hell.

@visionhunter ... Yes it did, in this reality, where the intro explains this is an alternate reality with steam powered planes. Steampunk ftw!

ar4100 its easy really all you have to do is put both your planes together with the gas plane slightly behind then constantly use the gas ability the enemy planes will fly straight through in chase the to take out the remaining lare plane simply use one as a decoy and the other to attack from the rear at minimum speed till its dead worked for me

when the golden circle goes out of screen there's nothing you can do: the plane is lost even if it could be easily recovered with a sharp turn. This is idiotic. 4/5 overall.

@egoid I know what you mean. It's like the developer didn't even think about real life at all when making this non-profit flash game.
Clown.

Significant issue: when arrow goes out of screen you cant control your plain, for instance I can rotate it but press acceleration, arrow goes out of screen - insta loss.

great game, a bit easy when you know how to play. The only bug ive noticed is when you fly close to maps end, it tend to put the controls outside the game area and you lose plane in a silly, yet annoying way

On 48 you go forward slowly with BOTH planes. Time it so you drop the gas. Then speed up, still going straight and drop the gas again. That gets rid of 2 maybe even all 3 pursuers. Leaves only the big snail which you just wheel around and deal with.

ar4100 - just go in a straight but slow line, poision his smaller planes. The bomber will take a bit more effort... just dont run into your own poison.
Dang you missing 2%!

anyone know how to do 1948 its like impossible you have 2 bristols while they have two fast planes, one gas plane and one big plane

Also, it's awesome how everything stops every few seconds while you figure out what to do next, like in life.

For 39 just peel off in opposite directions. Use your speed and acute turns. 46 is my kyrptonite. I have tried everything, I can't even get 3 stars on that one, just crappy 2, everything is 4.

should have an upgrade shop, be able to use different planes rather than the same plane, should be able to select what planes you want to use before playing, should have more usable bonuses, i like the gas, but what about missles? you could have like dummy missiles that shoot like 3 missiles the same way you face, ect..

Can't tell if this follows real history or not. But "nuking of paris" and "low temperature fission" make me believe its fictional. Good game though :D

3/5. If the dev. puts in plane upgrades it could easily be a 5. I don't like not being able to customise my plane in this kind of game. I know that is part of the appeal, but it's not my thing.

Graphic design was simple, clean and easy to understand. Good.
This game could improve by having plane upgrades.

1939 is the hardest level to get 4 stars. I could get on all other, but cant avoid being hit on 1939. Did anyone could? (I try outside loops, inside loops, running, 180... )

very decent game, i lost interest in it rather fast though, there should be ways to upgrade your stats. ex. armor, weapon power, speed. other then that i cant complain that much

what I don't like is that at the end of the map, if you go outside you blow up. Can't you at least make it so the curve redirects once we get too close to the edge? 'Cause what happens to me is that my planes get too close to the edge and I can't get to the arrow that lets me set the planes destination, because it's out of the screen. Then I blow up the next turn.
