A fascinating take on the turn-based strategy action game.
Hopefully there is a sequel in the works. Upgrades would be nice, and of course the ability to make your fusion reactor "go critical" banzai style would be nice :)

this game is made for REALISTIC DOG FIGHTING , as in real life , you don't know where they are going to move to or what are the firing arcs , estimation is key , with tactics too

this is an excellent game, but i found it to be a bit too easy. enemy ship ai is really easy to figure out - they will always choose a target and make a beeline for it. Any map where you have gas clouds can be easily beaten just by kiting enemies right through your clouds, as they will charge blindly in, every single time, if their target is on the other side of the cloud. Most everything else is finding enemy ships' range and arc of fire and then exploiting the hell out of it. It is a great game, don't get me wrong, it is intuitive and fascinating but it's just not difficult enough.

For the sequel, make the topos matter. I understand the lack of customization, as it keeps it balanced, but perhaps a turn based plane selection/modifier between you and the AI

Too short and easy, but I loved it while it lasted. If it had mapmaking and customizable planes and stuff like that, it's probably be worthy of a place on the top rated list.

love this game, but needs to fix the lag and make a #2 :P...also, make it that you can buy different planes in normal campaign or else it'll be unfair o_O

This game has the potential to be one of the best on Kong. I know it's been said time and time again, but customization and more plane abilities would be an excellent touch in a sequel. 5/5. (Don't forget to rate 5 stars! This game might win the weekly contest, and if you want a second one, I think the dev would like some money to do so. ;D )

A good game, worthy strategy game as any and as mentioned from prior comments by others, some customization to aircraft would be nice.
A few tactics from the old days of dogfights actually work well in this game, like the weaver maneuver, where the planes would cross each others path to attack the opposing plane chasing each other.

Losing lots of stars for taking damage, when taking damage is unaviodable... Not the best plan there.
Would be mice if getting all those stars did something as well. Like allowed us some upgrades.
Or let us choose what maneuvers we were going to take in, or maybe having a couple plane types to choose from.

Good game but it's basically a rip off of Fantasy Flight Games W"ings of War." I'm sure that if any one of them saw this game there'd be lawsuits flying around.

bit of a problem :x i was downloading something so i was lagging a little.. and when i used the poison stuff, it would all just gather ontop of my plane and kill me lol

great tactical interface, but some sort of explaination or instruction would be very helpful to make this more of a fun experience.

nice idea, but the duster skill is bug as it randomly hit the unit when you use it, even when used in a straight line. Otherwise, good game

<<@goul66>>what i did to kill the spotters was, is do a quick hit and run with 2 planes, wipes it out in one run, and you dont take any hits

Great game 5/5. I would like to see more plane types and perhaps a choice of plane to take to a mission. Would love to see a few more maneuver options as well. Thanks for bringing back the turn based game!

This is a good idea but very rough. If your going to give out stars for damage taken there has to be some way to tell how far the enemies move besides the smoke trail and how far they shoot. All the enemies have a different range and there is no way to tell what it besides guessing. Also its very short, there is very little story, and the power ups you give the planes on the levels seem to just be randomly put together for the most part. If you'd like to improve it, add difficulty settings, maybe hard could take out the firing arcs. customizable power ups for planes? other than that it was too easy. 2/5

it gets decreasingly fun as the game goes on, started pretty great though. It basically boils down to abusing the enemy ship/ai for the win. Not the funnest. 4/5

Really lame how you lose the fourth star when you take a single pulse from poison when another one of your planes was dumping it or something, ESPECIALLY since it doesn't flash the screen or whatever so you can't even tell
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
ok maybe it can
but i got it. advice: hit it with closest plane always having shields active to protect the ones behind it.while theones behind it SHOOT THE DANG THING!

Great game, but has some major pains.
First, an undo feature. It can be VERY annoying to fight a battle to the very end without taking a single damage and then get hit once because of a stupid maneuver.
Second, a way to set the quality. It may be the high level of detail (smoke, fire, etc.) or just that damned swftracker site, but on my PC this constantly lags, sometimes so badly that I can only see the starting and the ending frame of a turn.
Make these two minor upgrades, and this game will be one of the best ever.

@piwo Maybe you didn't see the loading screen where it says "Changing History"... or perhaps the fact that almost everything the game says is MADE UP.

Blitzkrieg was first used in Poland in 1939.
Not in France. Shame on you for ignoring the brave men and women who died.
1/5

Also, I would put the stars on screen while people are playing (small, at the top between the other stuff), I frequently wondered if I had hit my own poison, or on the multiple plane maps, if one of my planes had been shot while I wasn't watching. Stars on-screen would provide immediate feedback to the player.

very very nice, well done. Fix the "pointers off the edge of the map thing. If I'm not dead now or next turn, I should be able to click my pointer to turn my plane from the edge of the map. Still, that's tiny and the only thing I can think of. Great fun. 5/5
