plane dosn't turn 'cause the this that turns your plane (rudder) is not moving (jammed). 5/5 even tho bages don't work. why people rate 1/5 becasue kongregate fails?

OMG NVM!! but I found the best glitch ever. I accidentally drove my plane off map and it died but the enemy plane following it died too. XD and yeah make the gas plane follow your plane and gas it out.

1948 is easy just slow your planes down and make them fly side by side at the start then go normal speed in a line away from the other planes while gassing the whole time whenever you can. After you kill the planes that go after you send one of your planes up and the other down.Head back to the bomber if it goes up att with the bot plane and run away with the top plane. If he goes down att with the top plane and run with the bot.

Many, many thanks to suimike for his/her tip on 1948. I was thinking that mission was impossible, let alone complete it with no damage taken. Then, I used his technique. It worked like a charm!

1948 is frickin easy. put the gas plane behind the superspeed one keep on going left, let the three gunner planes follow, gas them, then go back and finish the bombino.

lad you couldn't be more wrong. I beat 1948 on my first try, and then I sat and thought for a minute and came up with a a better strategy. Aced it on my second try. This game is all about strategy, not trial and error.

My main issue with this game is that when I try and scroll up or down to adjust the map size, it also moves the page up and down. Anyone know a way aroubd this?

frog, when you perfected '46, how did you get your planes far enough away to avoid getting hit before you could gas the enemy? They always seem to be able to tag my guys with maybe one or two bullets before they run into the gas.

guys, some of these levels are much easier than you seem to think they are. so here's a tip: if your stuck on a level, you may be overthinking it. on the other hand, the AI doesn't think at all, and each enemy plan only has one concern: going after one of your planes, and only that plane.

60 stars, maximum rank. The 'smoke&run' strategy proved crucial in 1946. Game causes lag, but intriguing nonetheless. Well worth a sequel, with a wider variety of planes and tactics.

This is a great strategy game... if the only strategy you know is kiting.
1948 is basically impossible unless you do it exactly right, which ruins the game for me. Its basically just trial and error till you win, no going in with a plan
Ugh, and ONLY flying the Bristol?! Who's the retard who came up with that?
Basically, the first few levels intrigued me, but the later ones were repetative and a big let down... 2/5
