If the Creeper is "designed" to destroy technology and things with low entropy, why don't we make walls out of dirt and rocks instead of super advanced energon shields?

I also had problem that I've completed the game and no hard badge for weeks. But I've replayed last mission and I got it without a problem now. And since last mission is ridicilously easy, it's not a problem :P

Oooh, I see. I guess all the games for the best of 2011 medal were decided on and they thought this was GOTY material. I was wondering when the next Best Of medal would show up. Wonder what other games made the list. it's really weird to see a hard badge on top of a medium...that's a first. Weird but, ok.

I just got the hard badge and two minutes later they added a medium badge for the new quest. Weird timing, but free 15 points I guess.

very cool! another great addition to the series. I can't wait to see how it evolves next. I like how you have updated it and gave it more of a game feel. 5/5

For mission engineer, for first 2 emitters, max range of repulsors, build each launcher per emitter, build blaster or maker per emitter then finish both emitter.
For the last emitter, destroy all ceiling in that room and replace them with launchers.
build and use 8 makers at 4x and wait for a while. then finsih the last.

Had an idea, complicated perhaps but if you could somehow set the unit to only fire on a certain radius within maximum range for perimeter defences? So as you can have multiple blasters at different ranges from a pass to all fire if it reaches a certain tile, kind of thing?

Make a Evermore and userspace of creeper 2. And p.s. make the Liberation ship have some defense cuz i lost a few levels because it could not defend it's self.

@bradlovesrachel: Ignore the two emitters above the ship for the time being--it is the pressurized creeper below that provides the imminent threat. Fill your main room with reactors (and 2 or 3 tech domes), then build two caverns on either side of where the pressurized creeper will break through. Build your defenses then--at least four blasters and two launchers at each defense point; and there should be at least four defense points--at the top of the two caverns you made, and on either side of your main cavern where the creeper will break through. Consider using even more blasters and some makers as well. The key is to hold that pressurized creeper from breaking into the main cavern and wear it down until it can be destroyed. After that is taken care of, the rest is easy.

I am so addicted to this game! very good job. i have literally spent countless hours playing it and im not even close to being done with it.

Protip #1: When planning, mouse over the emitters on the stage. You will be shown how strong the emitter is--the stronger, the more creeper they emit. This will make your planning easier and will save your butt in the 10th mission.
Protip #2: Blasters focus on drones first, then creeper, by default. But it can be changed to target drones first, or to only target one or another. switching can be very useful when, say, dealing with strong drones and heavy creeper (like in mission 10, again). In that mission if you leave the blasters on default, they will target the drone but be quickly destroyed by the creeper.
Protip #3: movable structures of the same type can be selected as a group--click on one of them twice, and all the nearby structures of the same type will be selected. You can then move them as a group without a lot of extra clicking.

@Rebecca G10. mrmicrowaveoven is right. It takes a lot of time, a lot of blasters and a lot of upgrades. I also found that you can 'dig' your way above all of it and attack both sides simultaneously. this was really helpful for me to work it from the top down. I also vacuumed out my creep from everywhere else to pump it into that chamber. you also have to set up warps to get energy to your blasters efficiently, or they will run out quickly. make sure you set up reactors all over the place. dig lines everywhere and fill the trenches with reactors.
