I'd like to be able to produce anticreeper without tying it directly into ore count, it severely limits its applicatins in areas like the final level... it's of no real use there. I did the whole thing with standard weapons. That said, I kind of like the idea of the creeper controlling game... idea: stuff like encasing a creeper in walls and building up presure - if only having a few hundred k reeper density in one tile made it shoot like ajet when you open the can...
COnsider something like this for a future game...?

Entropy is essentially disorder. Neatly constructed technology like walls and shields have low entropy because everything in a set order/pattern. Dirt on the other hand has high entropy, since everything is just in a big jumble. lrn2thermodynamics

oh god...Are you sure this is called a "game"? I think this is called "nightmare"...I used 137 minutes on Level 5, 58 minutes on Level 6, 107 minutes on Level 7, and UNKNOWN minutes on Level 8

'The Creeper is 'designed' to destroy technology and things with low entropy.' if i recall without looking anything up, entropy is the destruction of stuff as soon as it's created, until it is no longer useful to anybody... so do you perhaps mean entropy resistance? low entropy looks like those stinking stones :P

this seems like a completely different CW, but it really isnt all that different when you really think about it, either way, i love it 5/5

cont::> but since i learned that lesson later, you can build a buttload of missiles and Makers. 2-3 Makers and 5-8 missiles with 4-5 blasters and tech upgrades should work wonders against it. mine out the ceiling so tat you have safe places to place your stuff, and make some minirifts to shorten the supply lines a lot. also, to contain good creeper, block off the exits to the chamber with the shields. hint: repulsors will allow you to disperse the bad creep from formation if they are in any allowing you to see the damage as well as allow your missiles and blasters to affect a larger AREA. took me a while to learn. useful later.

SPOILER ALERT: ihatebleach>you need to use the pre-built minirifts (awesome little things) to send supplies down to the 2 chambers with creeps. you must (well, advised) build a repulsor and aim it down (look lower left corner of game screen when you place it) on both shafts set to med or long. build up your power base a little, if needed. then you need some blasters and whatnot to clear those chambers... wreck the emmiters, and you can move on the the PIA. to beat this, the repulsors come in handy, if you can position them for best effect...

Solid 4 star effort, but it's just a tutorial with no actual gameplay. It's astoundingly easy. Can't wait for the real thing.

This is truely something I would play forever...FOREVER. It makes me want to play the real game, but not pay any money for it....I'd also like to see a survival mode for this too! :D Maybe some maps that are made for survival?

is it supposed to take me ~60 weapons of all kinds and 40 minutes at max speed to take down that thing at the bottom of level 5? or is it just that i failed to notice the *bleep*ing holocube and if i collected it first the level would have ended much sooner?

The top-down mechanic isn't as engaging as the original concept. What's missing I think is the lack of depth in this version... I see an isometric view in CW3's future. Sort of like Sim City, but with creeper.

@ people who complain that this is a demo. Yes. It's a demo. But it shows off all the mechanics of the full game, they are different levels to the full game, you can play these demo levels as many times as you like, and it doesn't shove it in your face that it is a demo with a million BUY THE FULL VERSION NOW buttons. He keeps bringing out new FREE level packs for both games on Kongregate (well, after the last CW1 level pack on here we won't need more). I'm glad to finally see some more CW2 levels :D

and this game needs just one more thing for the ore thing.... if they can even go into different dimensions, i just ask for a device that can transform loads of energy into a bit of ore. the same output as a not upgraded ore mine but takes about 5 energy. it should also be quiet expensive

deatchcommander is right, if i would make a ship to defend myself... why not put weapons on? i mean the creeper just eats trough the armour and still the crew dies...

Low rating. I enjoy Creeper World games, but this one is entirely too short. It's a gimmick to get people to buy the full version, not a standalone game.

Cyanide: The repulsors are useful in the first bit of the mission to pummel that creeper, but I agree are useless later on. also makers in level 5 help a lot as there is a lot of ore to mine.
