@devak yes it does but not in the first map....(shown in like 2 or 3 map i believe but could be wrong) ... although it still works in the first map i definitely recommend using them after you get one emitter it becomes very easy to take down all the others :D

Easily one of the best games I've ever played. Also nice to see the developer(s) returning to the roots, the academy sequel was not bad either, but the original is the best IMHO.

the purple ring left behind by a destroyed creeper object (e.g. spore or emitter) will superpower whatever you put on it. This isn't apparent nor explained in the game. Once you destroy one emitter, it becomes a LOT easier to destroy the others. Once it served it's purpose, put a generator on top of it for maximum energy.

Its a nice game but... I would of liked a little bit more explanation on what each building do.... I struggled alot at the start cuz I had no idea what each type of building was for.

@Ancano: Three command centres deployed, one near each pool - build two mortars per pool straight away. Should wipe nearly all the creeper out before the walls break, then just play as normal.

For those of you who had trouble on "Experiment", remember that you just recently got guppies, use them to move energy to the survival pods directly then complete the mission as normal. Hope this helps!

Good game as always but does the energy bar really need to hang up there covering part of the game field? The giant Cancel button and the Menu button could use another friend out there in the vast empty space around them :)

Phenomonal game. First one I actually completed to the end. The thing you're missing though is still the multiplayer to make this perfect. I want to play this against my friend. Find a way to make it happen and I'd happily buy that version. Still, great work none the less.

Just a quick criticism of an otherwise fantastic game - the last levels are quite easy. The survival pod level is far harder. I haven't purchased any of the creeper world games, but of the ones on Kongregate, I think this one has the easiest endgame levels. The computer and the village levels in User Space, or the second to last level in Creeper World 2, are far more challenging than these.
Also, a mute option which mutes ALL the game sound, not just music within a level, would be nice. I like to listen to music while I play games, and it's irritating to finish a level and then have my music drowned out by the game sound.
Other than that, this game is an incredible improvement on the earlier Creeper World games and undoubtedly deserves a 5/5. I'm seriously considering purchasing the latest Creeper World game when I create a steam account.

Played this at my friend's house when it was on steam his game was glitched and the graphics where horrible, now that I can actually see the game IT IS AMAZING!

Quite fun game, Tips from me for higher stage,Override= don't make a big base from beginning, build small and cramped base at top left, make 2 mortar to demolish pond of critter there,2 generator and 2 beam to defense the base, make 2 sprayer at right and bottom + some cannon and mortar, then start crawling to bottom to take back the mine and totem, make sure to use sprayer to open the battle first, while mortar and cannon covering it.

Is Understand an homage to the D-Day in Normandy? It was quite an inside joke to complete that level on 6th June. :D
It was a really enjoyable game, another good piece of the Creeper World series. 5/5 and a favorite for sure. :)

@Joshua178 If you mean on the last map, you don't actually destroy them, you just have to find the associated 'funnel' spot where an emitter is at If you destroy the emitter, you can even end anti-creeper through the red 'emitter'

to all the ppl who whine about the game being "to hard", cry me a river and go play a baby game that takes 5 minutes to beat. this is a real game that takes real time and effort to beat ;)

I can't end any missions. When I click on the claim victory or leave world button, the music stops, but the game just continues on as usual.

I don't comment games very often, but this one is stunningly amazing. I barely ever played Creeper World games, and I came here with no understanding of the game, but the game allowed me to understand it by simply playing it and learning through experience. All levels never fail to renew themselves, even though they are somewhat long to complete. I'm amazed by this game, 5/5.
