@Bozotic - I agree. But I don't think moving the base anywhere will help, so NBM is fastest for this map. (someone prove me wrong ;)

3/4 10:23. Early focus was staying within my defensible corner, minimizing defense spending and building reactors. Then begin a drone program, finally launching drones to soften territory allowing a wave of blasters to make rapid progress.

@acapfer, the way I beat it was to race a line of collectors out to the west, to pick up two upgrades (power generation and fire rate), then fall back. Two blasters on the bridge and a mortar to 'trap' the creeper at the north pool. Then a SAM turret to protect the rear area (it's okay if a spore lands in the front line, the blasters will handle it), then a drone so I can hit the pool where the emitters are. Then build reactors one by one, turning off construction when ammo starts to get low. Another mortar to suppress the eastern valley and another SAM so you can shoot down all three spores. Be patient, here it is at 15 minutes: https://i.imgur.com/rTM2Ey9.png but eventually you will get enough power to get a couple more drones, and you can use them on the southeast pool and the big pool at the same time and pick up a lot of ground. I haven't played on my laptop in quite a while and all the maps I see are from 2010. It doesn't do that on my workstation. Any tips for clearing this?

Similar theme, but larger maps and more item variety. Give it a shot! (This game was recommended by a friend and it's a blast, I'm not just selling for them.)

@jasondeegan Collectors don't do anything on the green terrain. The only way to get more energy out of collectors is to put them on gray terrain. Drones need to be manually targeted each time they recharge, otherwise they just sit there. There are no upgrades for singular buildings in this game series, because it's an RTS, not a tower defense game. Blasters are only good against light creeper, and are typically used to hold a line, while mortar towers are better for taking territory, and SAMs are there to protect from spores. Please play CW training Sim. It's a good way to learn how to play the CW games.

@jasondeegan You need to build a bunch of reactors slowly to sustain your blasters. They take a while but produce more than collectors.

@jasondeegan, surely you have learned to play this? 100 collectors? How densely are you constructing those? Drones do nothing unless you manually target them.

So, I don't get it. My blasters are not upgradeable and they make no progress against a creep that is faster and ever replenishing. I have 100 collectors and have an ever-growing "deficit", my blasters rarely shoot and drones do absolutely nothing. I've tried 4 times. 1/5 and I wish I could give it less.
