whats quite challenging is, playing 2 player on your own controling one with mouse and other with wasd, really dificult on bosses!

i cleared the game by upgrading the rockets, shield and repair to max, Wave CD and range to 7 and speed on 7
then i maxed everything after a few bonus levels

finished, 100% Love The O And X Bosses, Just Stay Inside The O And Use Your Wave On First Big Spinny Thing, And X Wait 'Till After, Then Go Inside While He Is Shooting Out Those Lines, The Instant He Stops, Pop Your D Wave And GTFO

Bog-standard shooter. The fact that you can repeatedly play levels until you have all the upgrades makes the whole game a bit silly -- at no point do you have to use a modicum of skill, only grind away at levels until you have enough cash to purchase billions of upgrades. It's pretty, though, and fairly satisfying. 4/5

I agree Bob, my eyes get all effed on this and yeah OCD indeed. I dunno, there's just something satisfying about winning money, buying evil parts to blow ships down and dodging donuts.

OCD made me beat it. Not bad. I think you need a seizure warning upon reaching full upgrade. I found myself spacing out and realizing I was watching one side of the screen when my ship was in the opposite corner.

Easy way to beat stages:Beat the first stage twice then u should have enough to buy the 2 missles and then play stage 2 you should be able to beat that on first try if you didnt play stage one twice again and then buy the 2 lasers that come out from the front of your ship and if u have enough money,buy a shield upgrade.then you should be able to beat lvl 2.if not then buy more shields until you can beat it.then on all other lvls when you need money,play stage 2 again.upgrade shots to.

Excellent game! Good balance of difficulty and trying to figure out which upgrades would be utilized best to beat bosses. I found MORE defensive upgrades, with a BIT LESS offensive upgrades helped a lot... ahh well, it's how you play, right?

I think this game and Frantic are close in how good this has some disadvantages that Frantic doesn't have and this has somethings better than Frantic.5/5

Upgrade Complete has a better upgrade system.
Any of the Touhou games have better levels/shot patterns/dynamics. You could learn from both.

I really like this, but I think that the last bosses were undertuned.
The 2-Player mode was fun too, played it with a friend of mine yesterday and continued the savegame today alone =P Reminded me of this vid on youtube where an asian plays Ikaruga 2-Player alone^^

You people saying frantic is awesome and this rips it off: frantic rips off loads of other shoot em' ups and isnt that good compared to them.
In this game the locked autofire and focus on upgrades put me off. I wonder when someone will put up a good flash shmup that doesnt have any damn upgrades and instead is good because of the level and boss design.

i made my own move on this game cald death wave first you max upgrade attack and speed then you move the shibackwords and forwards across the map creating a wave of shots that destroys most enemys in one hit (if attack is maxed)
