Outstanding game... simply outstanding. An excellent storyline, with good character development and a great plot. The musical score was also a cut above the rest (which makes a huge difference in overall game experience). I must say that the game play is good, but could use improvement (splitting hairs I know, but from your production quality I feel you are capable of even more). Overall, one of the best flash games I've played. Bravo!!!

awesome storyline, but.... would it really have been that hard to make the bullets face the direction they were fired in? just sayin'...

Forgot to add props for the soundtrack. I had Starwish's title screen for hours just because I wanted to keep listening to the opening theme. x')

WOW. Just... wow. I can't imagine what kind of game you could have come up had you been given bigger, more experienced and professional team. I can tell you played a lot of classic RPG; your writing, character design, world building, they are all console-standard. I'm definitely looking forward for the sequel of Starwish and please continue making other games as well. 8D

Interface graphics need a serious overhaul, they're kind of scary bad. I'd say ripped straight from a snes emulator. Mouse controls should be on by default - its pretty impossible otherwise. And bigger more badass weapons ^^

You weren't kidding when you said epic, were you? That was such n awesome, addictive and well made game. The story was great and the method of the story (in its many layers) and the actual game play was great! :) You should make more! If you did, I'd definitely be a buyer! :)

Possibly the greatest game I have played in a very long time, i would love to see a sequal. The characters were so well created and the story is so rich. if i could i would give it a far higher rating than 5 stars. If this game was to become available on xbox/ps3 i would most certainly purchase it. Please bring out a sequel so i may once again relish in the art of what a true game is! GREAT JOB!

Great Game!! I love it and it has a great story line which is very important. I love retro games and I also love rpg's. This game is perfect and if it was available on the xbox/PS marketplace it would do very well. Just an idea developer..

"That just proves how much of a chicken I am. No offense to the Laser Chickens." Laser Chicken: "None taken." Ummm, what?

Great game and I can say its the best one I have played on here EVER!!!!! Great story, it makes me sad just to finish the game knowing this is it (for right now) hope there is a sequal or another game just as great coming soon.

idk if its just me being sentimental but i cried at the end even tho i ended up seeing all the endings my favorite was the one where he didn't make a wish because i really liked Ginny and was extremely sad at her ending i thank you greatly for making this game and if you make a new RPG make sure it has great characters like this one i hope to see another Starwish game out soon :)

if you are stuck behind obstacles you die when the screen reaches you and pushes you into the terrain. the same thing happens when you get stuck in terrain (due to a bug) and move towards either end of the screen - as soon as you get in contact you die. the only possibility to prevent this is using overdrive

I love it when lasers appear just where I'm flying. Hopefully if another game is made, they'd at least show some warning when they are coming instead of instantly vaporizing

God, the last boss is frustrating. Whew, the game was one of the best free ones I've ever played, actually beats some I've paid for.

I have an idea for the sequal......what about a return of iblis? And before you defeat iblis, you have to defeat a shadow version of you? Might add a nice touch to the bosses..

Man, I was just thinking that what shoot 'em up games needed was for somebody to cargo cult some RPG-style progression and a bunch of stat choices that barely matter. Oh, and drop in some dreadful writing and stock characters from their favorite Japanese animes. Yep.

Part two: There were a couple typos that I could say if you care about that, I don't hold them negatively toward my rating as this game is A LOT of text and I only could think of three. Only one I can think of off the top of my head is bear saying "I resemble that remark!" resemble should be resent unless it was meant as a joke. Anyway, 5/5. My enjoyment of the game far outweighs my few gripes.

Part one: This is probably one of the better games I've played on Kong and considered it an awesome way to spend a Sunday. One of the few games I actually ignore the skip scene button which most games leave me begging for one or mashing one. There wasn't a single character I didn't like, and the story was kept interesting. The customization of the ship is a huge benefit for games like this as well.
I can't find much to complain about, but it would be nice to have some from of notice when I'm bumping into something with my ship other than my shield simply depleting. Most of the time I'm entirely too focused on the enemies to watch when I'm scraping a wall (especially a black one). I also wasn't sure why enemies can go through walls but I am unable to. Also, with such an interesting dialog, why limit me to two chats when there are three or more people available? Not necessary, I'd gladly click on them just to see what they had to say.

Wow, that's some good dialogues. I mean, really, you actually want to read every piece of them without skipping to the action. And for once in my life the questions you must answer to determine your character in the beginning of the game make sense to me as a person.
Thanks for the tremendous work man!

took a while, but I finally finished it :) I must say, I particularly enjoyed the music during the fight against iblis.
