I have been playing this game for the last three days straight. I would have probably finished it in one day but I've been playing in downtime at work which made it go by so much faster which I really appreciate. This game is amazing, I truly loved every minute of every part of this game and will be playing it through a second time. This game was so in depth and the characters were so independant and easily enojoyed as people. This game has great gameplay, story and music as well as good dialog for the characters. I am not complaining and I'm so glad I stuck with this all the way through. Well worth making a sequel and the 5/5 that I gave it.

i have beaten this game 6 times for all the endings... however one thing still puzzles me... is the special ending really Ginny? i wanted to have an ending with Neferti and suprisingly... she's not a character selectable for a wish... if there's any hidden schemes for having an ending with Neferti (such as beating the prolongue mission) pls tell me =D

I have noticed that the game does not actually save until I leave the page, Firefox 4.01/XP (I have been backing up the save file) Also, why is the special ending not one of the vote choices?

I have seen all the character endings, I think. And Ginny's was the most beautiful. It was also the saddest. But beautiful nonetheless. I had thought myself too jaded, but you managed to make me cry. 5/5 is your score.

Most definitely one of the best - and well-written - games i have ever played, although i did spot a typo on the second day talking to the engineer girl i think, or somewhere around there. there was an s where an a should be in the second line. :P

There are 9 endings, one for every character (including neferiti if you play on hard mode), the normal "I have no wish" ending and, if you get all 7 character's endings in one single gameplay (not NG+) the "I have no wish" ending changes into a special ending (read this to know how to get all the endings http://www.kongregate.com/forums/3-general-gaming/topics/175829-rpg-shooter-starwish?linkfixed=1&page=3#posts-3823314). Also you cant vote for any of the "I have no wish" endings.
At first the normal ending was the one I liked the most, but after geting the special ending i loved it, but seems there arent many who think alike as there is no comment for "+ if you would like to vote for the special ending".

Phenomenal. loved it from beginning to end. with more games like this you would easily be asked by microsoft or nintendo for a console arcade game. keep this up 10/5

There is an ending for Ginny. You have to build a certain relationship with her, (talk to her in the cafe every time you can) and not die too often. (best achieved on normal)

How many endings are there, anyway?
So far I had 5 of them and I can vote only for 4 of them, but there are still some place remaining. Like, for 3 or 4 more. Does the first dialogue in the game influence on the endings choice?
Just to keep track, I had these endings:
1.There is nothing I wish for.
2.I swear to bring peace to Johnny.
3.I wish the restoration of Bamboo.
4.If only Dedai could see again...
5.I'd do anything for Tessa.
Anything to add?

Initially I wasn't feeling this game. Anyone who has played a visual novel or RPG is already more than familiar with the tropes. I stuck with it for the badges, but wow, if you can hold out for it the game really does deliver and I wasn't expecting it to be so long. I think play can be repetitive at times but certain levels were a little more challenging than others. I'd like a similar game but otome genre. Giving this game a 5/5 for style, game play and for the effort to make something like this.

This game is probably the best flash game and one of the best games all time I've ever played. There is one thing which I really miss though, the ability to rewatch the endings. I seriously love the endings up to now (I've had 2 of them so far), but I don't want to have to beat the boss all over again to watch it. A wonderful game though, favourited, 5/5, and if I had Kreds, you'd have 'em all by now.

I'm not a big fan of shooters. I played for the story and the soundtrack. However, this is one of the better shooter games I have played anyway. However, I think any sequel could not be as good as this game. There would have to be a new soundtrack, which would take away from the experience. Also, I think the shooter part would be too complex and the story would be contrived. Amazing game, but I say a sequel would take away from the good name this game has made for itself.

way to make a plot twist = ) i only read 3/4 dialog but i loved it i mostly read the intense parts ect and it still made sense as to what was to happen and what had happened i love the game = P dialogs not the fav but still 5/5

It would be nice to be able to respec your skills somehow. I chose the rear-firing machine gun, and then later in the game I decided the sawmine was my favorite weapon. So now the rear-fire is redundant. It'd be nice to go back and pick something else without having to restart the entire game.

I normally do not write comments, but this game....my god where to start?!
From the memorable characters to the great sound and music, it is truly one of the gems for the site! The artwork is well detailed and the style is refined to a point where I could see it as a graphic novel or webcomic. The gameplay is simple at first but as you progress it adds a much greater depth and strategy. I cant wait to see what you do for your next game, be it a sequel to this one or an expedition into a new type of game I eagerly await it.

I was reading some of the higher-rated comments, and they talked about how to get some endings. What I want to know is: I got a wish to restore Bamboo for Swig. So how did I unlock that ending?

One thing to be warned: You may be able to enter the terrain during overdrive. If you don't get out in time you can die instantly.

I played more for the story. not for the shooter (which was better than average on its own genre too) Deadeye was my favorite character. 5/5

Amazing game. It has a real story, and not just words tacked on for effect. In addition, the game actually uses the story, and is not just random background. And for that, I give you a 5/5 dear maestro of games.

This is possibly one of the most in-depth flash games I've ever played. It has all the elements of an excellent RPG and I would LOVE to see a sequel. Great job :D

This comment may sound off-color, but it's primarily a question of anime authenticity. This is probably the most poorly-endowed female anime cast ever conceived on either side of the Pacific. I'll leave the question of whether that's a good or a bad thing to the philosophers, but it is exceedingly odd. I'm not saying that ALL of the ladies need to be ten pounds overweight and carrying it between the neck and the ribcage, but you'd think that Nefereti, being
quasi-
evil, would at least have a decent pair in concordance with the Second Law of Anime Body Proportions, which clearly states: "The bubbliness of the jubbliness shall be directly proportionate to the bitchness of the witchness."
